Scholarships for SC, ST and PWD Categories

• The Government of India offers scholarships to participants from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and People with Disabilities (PWD).

Education Loan

• IIM Shillong assists the participants in availing of educational loans from banks during the admission process. The details regarding the process are made available to the participants after they are offered admission to the institute.

Need-Based Financial Assistance Scheme

• The institute endeavours that no candidate be denied the opportunity to pursue the Post Graduate Programme for want of adequate financial resources. Keeping this in mind, IIM Shillong has provision for a Need-Based Financial Assistance Scheme to help economically weak MBA participants. The number of scholarship awardees and quantum of assistance are decided based on annual gross family income, participants liquidity, creditworthiness and their overall suitability.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarships

• Candidates can apply for the merit-cum-means scholarship in the first and second years. Indian Institute of Management Shillong scholarship is awarded as per conditions and norms.
