IIM Shillong placements statistics have grown steadily over the years. The IIM Shillong highest package in 2023 reached an all-time high and is recorded as INR 71.30 LPA. A student of the IT and Analytics domain bagged the highest package. Similarly, during the Indian Institute of Management Shillong placements 2022-23, the average salary package increased by 16.7% and stood at INR 26.96 LPA.

The IIM Shillong placement drive of 2023 witnessed a total of 63 recruiters participating and offering 85 pre-placement offers/ pre-placement interviews. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Adani, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro, PwC, KPMG. etc., are some of the IIM Shillong top recruiters. The institute has a placement cell that is responsible for all placement-related activities.

The summer placement for the IIM Shillong's 2022-24 batch has concluded. More than 67 recruiters, of which 37 were new recruiters, have participated and offered the highest stipend of INR 4.75 LPA. Around 279 offers were made for students during the summer placement of 2022-23.

The highest salary package offered for 37 PGPEx students of IIM Shillong in 2023 was INR 43.92 LPA. The Indian Institute of Management Shillong average and median packages of the PGPEx program in 2023 was INR 25.58 LPA and INR 26 LPA, respectively.
