Admission procedure was quite an easy one. There was no entrance test for the admission of my course. I belong to SC category so I get the admission in the last hour when all the other categories were filled up. My percentage was just 72. However, for other categories like OBC general, the cut-offs was around 96-84.

*Every year the University of Delhi releases cut off the percentage of each and every course.based upon the percentage of the 12th standard they will calculate the best of 4 subjects if you are eligible to get admission in that particular College. In 2017 the typical cutoffs of Mathematics are 97.5 percentage for general and 96 is the least percentage for the candidate who is eligible for reservation

The admissions to my course in Hindu College was Merit-based. Like every other Delhi University College, the cutoff list was released at the DU website. The admission procedure was, however, quite hectic. It was greatly marked by long queues of restless students and their parents waiting to get enrolled for the course. But now, after having spent almost a year in this college, I feel, it was all worth it.

Well, the admissions in my college are based upon on my marks in class 12. As the admissions are done on the bases of class 12 marks so this makes this type of admission process a bit complex. There are always twelve cutoffs released by the college but most of the seats especially for general people get full after 3 cutoffs. For my course, the cutoff ranges from 97-98% marks in PCM in your class 12 for general people and in languages and in other subjects I(if any) the candidate should have scored at least 60%.During the time of admission, the candidate should present the set of original documents in college for verification, and the admission process begins only after the candidate verifies his documents.

Students are eligible to apply in the college by the cut off criteria of Delhi University. After the cut off's are out, the student needs to come with all the needed documents to the college's respective department in which he/she wants to take admission. Typical cutoffs are around 90-98%.
