Osmania University established Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre For Distance Education, Hyderabad in the year 1977, the Centre has grown phenomenally and emerged as a pioneering institution in the field of Distance Education with excellent teaching method and the college has also introduced CD and Web-based Modular Courses taking advantage of innovations in Information Technologies.

The Osmania University, established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in the country, third oldest in South India and the first to be established in the princely State of Hyderabad. Prog. G Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education [PGRRCDE] offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as PGDs. The institute was set up by the university to increase their reach in the success of their goal of providing quality education. The student support services at the Centre for Distance Education are essentially based on the supply of reading materials for home study by the learner, supported and supplemented by facilities, like study centres/ Authorised Learning Centres, and Audio-Visual Material.

Admission eligibility criteria for various courses are given in the table below. Only candidates who satisfy the given criteria may apply for admission.

B.A Telugu	Telugu as a compulsory subject in 10+2 Candidates must have passed Diploma in Oriental Language Telugu/ Pre-Degree Course Examination of Osmania University OD B.O.L or B.A. Degree Examination or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto
B.Sc	Candidates of 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics and Pursuing Pilot training or Aircraft maintenance course are eligible for B.Sc. (Aviation)

PGRRCDE, Hyderabad PG Admission

Post graduate courses offered by the institute are MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA. A total of 13 specialization subjects are available under the MA course, this include Social Sciences and Arts subjects. The institute also runs Post Graduate Diploma [PGD] courses in 5 different subjects. Details are in the table given below-

PGRRCDE, Hyderabad PG - Eligibility

Post graduation courses are for a duration of 2 years, except for MCA which is a 3 year course. Teh Post Graduate Diploma [PGD] courses are for a duration of 2 semesters, each semester spanning 15 weeks. For details regarding eligibility, refer to the table below-

MA Psychology	A candidate should have passed UG (3 years duration) Degree Examination with Psychology as one of the subjects in BA OR Bachelor of Mentally Retarded (BMR) / Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)/ M.Ed. / MA (Education) / M.Sc. (Home Science) / Diploma in Child Psychology / Diploma in Industrial Psychology.
M.Sc Mathematics	Pass in BA/B.E/B.Tech with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the UG level. Candidates with a PG Diploma in Mathematics. Candidates who have passed AMIE Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering Examination conducted by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Bombay
M.Sc Statistics	A pass in B.A./B.Sc. (3 years duration) and should have studied. Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at UG level.
M.Com	B.Com
MCA	BCA Candidate should qualify ICET [Integrate Common Entrance Test for MCA]
MBA	Any graduate Candidate should qualify ICET [Integrate Common Entrance Test for MBA]
PGD C.A, PGDBM, PGDELT, PGD Maths	Graduate in any faculty
PGD Bioinformatics	Candidates who have passed their B.Sc. / B. Pharmacy / B.Sc.(Ag.) / M.B.B.S / B.V.Sc./ BDS/ BHMS / BAMS / BUMS / BE / B.Tech / M.Sc./ M.Tech. / M.C.A. / Degree in Hospital Management / Ph.D. etc., with 50% marks are eligible

On the Online Admissions Portal, select the appropriate course for admission [UG/PG/MBA or MCA/PG Diploma]
Candidates need to register themselves by filling basic details such as name and contact details.
Next, an application fee of INR 300/- must be paid.
This can be done online through Credit card / Debit card / Net banking.
After payment of the non-refundable application fee, Upload requisite documents and proofs, fill the application form and submit.
