Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi fortitude was evident when the college accomplished 100 percent placements in 2021. Notwithstanding the Covid situation, many records remained broken, and one such was of the number of PPOs offered. FMS Delhi placements 2021 concluded on soaring levels with 102 companies participating in the placement drive. However, the management of FMS Delhi claims that only 84 companies made 228 offers.
Around 23 new employer recruiters, including HCL, BMW, Myntra, Ericsson, Paytm, Purplle, Qualcomm Ventures, etc., took part in the placements. A significant increase of 36% was observed in product management PPOs in comparison to 2020.

The record-breaking placements season 2021 witnessed 175 offers that stood above INR 20 LPA. The highest CTC and average CTC (of top 100) stood at INR 58.8 LPA and INR 31.8, respectively. The average CTC proposed to females also increased to INR 26.4 LPA. The key highlights of FMS Delhi placements 2021 are stated below:

The university concluded the summer internship placements for its 2020-22 batch on a triumphant note. Breaking its record of average stipend rendered, it recorded 100 percent placements. The internship period is generally two months. In 2021, the average stipend was INR 2.41 lakhs against INR 2.29 lakhs, which is an escalation of 5 percent. Out of 286 students, 183 students grabbed a stipend of above 2 lakh for two months. Also, the surge of 10 percent in the median stipend was observed in 2021.

Domain Wise Summer Placements for 2020-22 Batch
8% of the students were recruited in Consulting & General Management domains, while 12% received Finance roles. The companies who participated in this drive include Accenture Strategy, Axis Bank, Boston Consulting Group, Bank of America, Capgemini, Standard Chartered, Gartner, RPG, and HSBC.
Recruiters like HUL, L’Oréal, Mondelez, ITC, Asian Paints, Johnson and Johnson, Coca-Cola, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata Sky, Samsung, and United Breweries offered internship opportunities to 42 percent of the students in the Sales & Marketing field.
E-commerce giants were the biggest employers of placement season 2021. The IT, Operations, E-commerce received 34 percent of total offers from corporates such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Paytm, Go-MMT, Microsoft, HCL, Media.net, UnitedHealth Group. Around 30 percent of candidates were recruited in Consulting, Strategy, and General Mgt field. Primary recruiters were ABG, IBM, Accenture, JSW, Bain & Co., RPG, E&Y, BCG, Capgemini, Kearney, Reliance, and TAS. As many as 20 percent of Sales and Marketing roles were offered by the industrial goods, pharmaceutical, retail, consumer electronics, automobile, and e-commerce sectors.

As per the table under, the average CTC has moved progressively, although the highest CTC has witnessed downfall during the placements 2019 and 2017. In 2020, the top 75% of students grabbed offers with a package of INR 20 LPA and above as against 68% of students last year. The average CTC of the top 15% of students was INR 37.3 LPA.
