For B.Tech

• Candidates must pass the Qualifying Examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, and 
• Technical Vocational Subjects with individual pass marks, at least 45% marks, and English with at least 30% marks. 
• The lower age limit is 17 years as of 31.12.2020. 
• Those who passed ‘10+2’ and qualified in the WBJEE or JEE (MAIN) Examination are eligible for admission.

For M.Tech

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or appear in the final year examination of such programs or equivalent is eligible for admission to higher studies in Engineering. 
• For M. Tech in Microelectronics & VLSI Design, B.E. / B. Tech in ECE or M.Sc. in Electronics / Physics (with Electronics special) or equivalent, B.E. / B. Tech in CSE or M.Sc. in Computers Science or equivalent, and B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent are also eligible. 
• Qualify for the Common Entrance Examination through PGET for M. Tech Admission.
