BE [Bachelor of Engineering] Details

CMR Institute of Technology BE course offers seven specialisations across disciplines such as Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering. These courses are offered in different formats, and students can also opt for integrated courses with M.Tech or MBA.

Admission to these courses is based on the JEE Main/KCET/COMEDK scores. Upon the counselling, the seats are allocated to students at CMRIT. JEE Main Session 2's result was announced on April 28, 2023. KCET examination results will be declared on June 12, 2023, and COMEDK on May 28, 2023.

CMR Institute of Technology BE Eligibility Criteria

CMRIT BE's eligibility criteria are students who have passed 2nd PUC/10+2 from a recognised board with a 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer or Electronics. However, the eligibility criteria may differ for students applying for certain specialisations. CMRIT will also consider the JEE Main/KCET/COMEDK scores for admission.  

CMR Institute of Technology BE Admission

Admission to the CMRIT BE course is based on the CET scores. However, students with merit scores in JEE Main/KCET/COMEDK can also apply for admission to CMRIT BE.  

Application Procedure

Students seeking admission to CMRIT must apply at the college campus. Students can apply for CET (Common Entrance Test) and appear for the exam. Based on the scores, the seat is allotted to students. The process to apply is given here:

• Visit the college campus
• Visit the “Admissions Section”
• Fill in the registration form with the details required
• Pay the application fee
• Once the seat is confirmed, get the required documents verified
• Submit the application form

Students who have appeared in JEE Main/KCET/COMEDK can apply for direct admission based on their scores. 

Entrance Exams

Admission to CMRIT BE is made through JEE Main, KCET and COMEDK.

Documents Required

At the time of admission, students are required to present a few important documents. The list of these documents is given below. 

• Marksheet and Certificate of 10th and 12th.
• JEE Main/KCET/COMEDK mark sheet.
• Photo id proof such as Adhaar Card
• Conduct Certificate by the Principal of the last attended institution
• Passport and stamp sizes pictures
• Proof of income of parents
• Migration certificate in case of students coming from other boards from other states.
• Caste and Category certificates, if any
• Self-addressed envelopes (4 with self-address and INR 5 stamps)

The CMRIT BE fee has been updated for this new session, and the fees for the course start at 13.22 Lakhs, which includes the tuition fees, admission charges and other expenses. The fee differs with different specialisations.
