Satyawati college is an institution under Delhi University. It is in Ashok Vihar. The admission procedure I would say wasn,t really difficult.I took admission in the Evening college in English honours. I had less percentage to qualify for the morning one. I was required with 86.5% as per the 5th cutoff.I luckily had 88%.I was required to submit my original documents which included my 10th,12th mark sheet and Transfer certificate. Also, there was a small interview which was to verify if we really do qualify for the course. There weren't any entrance examination if you want to know but in the coming years, there might be one. The typical cutoffs for English honours in DU are starting from 95% in the first one, then slightly decreasing onto 90% and staying at that in colleges of North campus. The colleges in South campus can have cutoffs as low as 86%. (This is all for the general category. The Sc and OBC,s have low cutoffs)
The students will take admission in B.Com Hons on the basis of cutoff. The candidates do the online registeration on DU's official site, then check the cuttoff of respective colleges for different courses, select the suitable college, verify the documents and finally pay fees Online.
