WBJEE answer key 2024 (provisional) has been released on May 7, 2024, objections from May 7 - 9, 2024.
WBJEE counselling 2024 dates will be announced in the fourth week of May 2024. Candidates can check the official site to be updated at wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE 2024 counselling dates will be revealed on wbjeeb.nic.in.
Qualified candidates with a valid entrance exam rank will be permitted to participate in the WBJEE counselling 2024 process for admission to B.Tech courses offered by the state's participating institutes.
During the WBJEE 2024 counselling, candidates must register and select their courses and colleges in order of choice. WBJEE mop-up round seat allotment is expected to begin in Jul 2024. The authorities will initially issue WBJEE mock allotment so that candidates can examine their probable allotment and make modifications to their order of preferences.
It should be noted that the WBJEE 2024 seat allotment results will be published online separately for each round.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling Schedule for JEE Main Candidates
The university will conduct a separate round of WBJEE counselling through JEE Main for the candidates applying for admission. WBJEE Counselling 2024 procedure will be the same for the candidates who qualified for JEE Main 2024.
Candidates have to register and fill in the choices of the colleges within the WBJEE counselling date 2024. The seat allotment will be done based on the candidates' marks in the JEE Main exam 2024.

Steps of WBJEE Counselling Process 2024
The counselling process for WBJEE starts with the candidates' online WBJEE 2024 registration and ends with seat confirmation and admission to a particular college. The steps involved are listed below.

Step 1: WBJEE Counselling 2024 Online Registration
- To begin the counselling, you have to first register online for the same. Go to the official website of WBJEE Board.
- On the official website, follow the "WBJEE e Counselling 2024 Schedule," located on the left-hand side of the page, as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Log in to WBJEE 2024 Counselling Account
- You have to log in to the counselling account by entering previously received (during the application process) your Registration ID, password, and security pin. The below image shows the Login Page of the same:
Step 3: Entering Details
- You have to provide the necessary details now. The details you are entering should match the ones you have provided while filling out the application form.
- The details to be provided includes your academic and personal information.
Step 4: WBJEE 2024 Counselling Seat Allotment
- Your rank and choice of course and institute seat will be allotted to you, considering that the said seat is available. If a seat is not available then you have to choose the one from the available seats. Below is the sample image of seat allocation.
Step 5: Document Verification
Mandatory: Once a seat is allocated to you, you now have to go through the document verification to authenticate your qualifications. The mandatory WBJEE Counselling documents (originals) you should carry for WBJEE Counselling 2024 are as follows:
- Domicile Certificate,
- 10th Marksheet as a proof of date of birth,
- WBJEE 2024 Admit Card,
- Print out of WBJEE 2024/JEE Main 2024 rank from the official website,
- Receipt of Counselling Fee payment,
- 12th or equivalent mark sheet,

Disqualified: The candidates will be disqualified from WBJEE counselling 2024 if WBJEE Counselling documents are not produced or do not match the candidate's details in the application form.

- Domicile Certificates Categories
- The first type of domicile certificate is an undertaking of the candidate mentioning that he/she is a resident of the state for at least ten years.
- The second domicile certificate is an undertaking mentioning the candidate's educational qualification and whether the candidate is a resident of the state.
- The third domicile certificate is an undertaking which should be produced by the candidates who are not a resident of the state but whose parents are residents of the state.
Documents Required for WBJEE 2024 Counselling
- Only Qualified students: The counselling process requires applicants to be qualified for WBJEE 2024 or JEE Main 2024 examination.
- Domicile: Candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal can register for WBJEE counselling 2024.
- Minimum Age Criteria: Candidates should be a minimum age of 17 years of age before the end of the previous year of the examination.

WBJEE counselling 2024: Guidelines and Rules For JEE Main and Architecture Seats
- West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will conduct a centralized process online for WBJEE 2024 counselling for JEE Main and architecture seats.
- WBJEE counselling 2024 will only be held for certain courses that will be mentioned in the seat matrix published by the WBJEEB.
- The WBJEE exam will consist of three rounds of counselling of WBJEE 2024 namely allotment, up-gradation and the mop-up round.
- WBJEE counselling registration 2024 fee is INR 500 for JEE Main and WBJEE rank holders.
WBJEE 2024 Counselling Reporting Centres
Once the seat allotment process is completed, candidates have to report to WBJEE counselling 2024 centre with all the documents within the specified dates. At the reporting centre, the documents of the candidates will be verified by the authorities.
Once all the documents are verified, candidates can secure their seats in the respective colleges by paying the admission fees.
