Christ University has some of the best infrastructures of any institution in Bangalore, or across the country. The university has ample housing facilities in the form of apartments, hostels, and PGs around the campus. The university has a girl's hostel within the campus. Students can access various amenities in and around the campus.
The campus is equipped with state of the art facilities, with a massive auditorium, science labs, basketball courts and a plethora of kiosks for students to choose from. The university also has various libraries and computer labs for students to access whenever they want. All the facilities and classrooms are well maintained. The food on campus is affordable, and students have various options to choose from. Overall, the campus has some of the best infrastructures of any educational institution in the country.
Christ University has some of the most highly sought after arts programs in the country. The eligibility into Christ University Arts courses is determined by a student's pass percentage in their pre-university board exams, where an aggregate of 75% and above is welcomed. Students will have to go through mandatory entrance exams followed by a face-to-face interview. In some cases, students that fall below the aggregate of 75% in their 12th board, or pre-university board exams, will still have a chance of gaining admission in the course if they manage to do well in the entrance exam and the interview process.
Classes commence at 9 am and end at 4 pm. Each semester has mid-term exams along with assignments that make up for a student's continuous internal assessment. Continuous Internal Assessment, or CIAs as they are referred to, are crucial in determining a student's eligibility into the next semester.
Christ University has some of the best minds across various its faculties. The department of media and communications is renowned for its syllabus and teaching methodology. While the workload might amount to a lot of stress for students at times, the teaching and classroom interactions are vibrant and engaging. On the downside, the administration can be difficult to deal with, at times. The attendance system in Christ is unforgiving with heavy fines on students who don't make the cut-off.
Christ University, Bangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,05,000 per year.
I joined the University as an NRI student, so the fees were considerably higher for me than it was for regular students. The fee was including a registration fee of INR 5,000.
Scholarships are provided for meritorious students in the form of a percentage refund in fees. Scholarships are also provided to bright students from economically weak backgrounds.
Christ University has some of the best cultural festivals in the country. The annual intra-college festival Darpan provides a platform for students to showcase their talents. Students that perform exceptionally are indoctrinated into the cultural team which represents the university at various cultural festivals across the country. The University also conducts its inter-college cultural fest called In Bloom where colleges from across the country participate.
Each department on campus has its cultural festival or event, where teachers and students collaborate to showcase the various talents of students belonging to these various departments.
The university also has an annual sports festival call CHRI-SPO where teams from various institutions across the country compete.
There are literary, music, art, drama, and debate clubs that students can also participate in.
Life in college is vibrant. There is always an event happening, organized by some department or student body. Even if there isn't a fest insight, one can often find students engaged in practicing music, dance, sports, and other extra-curricular activities, outside class hours.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria: 50% in 10+2 in any subject (I had commerce). I wrote CUET or Christ University Entrance Test. For my course, the minimum cutoff was 60%.
