Placements and Internships
The internship takes place in the 3rd semester and there are many 5-star and 7-star hotels that come for the interview. The key companies are JW Marriott, Lemon Tree, Taj, and many more. The starting salary is Rs 4 lakh per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 12-13 hostels and the hostel fee for one year is Rs 80000. The food in college is very good and there are many canteens. The quality of the classrooms is good. Each class has an advanced teaching facility and a smartboard. The labs are full of equipment and libraries are full of books.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
We have to clear the NCHM exam to take admission and the cutoffs reach up to 30000 every year.
Academics and Faculty
The class begins at 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm and there is a lunch break of one hour. The quality and method of teaching are excellent. The teachers have great experience in teaching.
Fees and Scholarships
Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The fee for my entire course is Rs 3,60,000.
The semester fee changes every year. There is an option for a scholarship. Any type of loan is not required as this course is affordable.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs in the college in which a student can take part. In the hotel management department, there are many clubs in which a student can take part which will help him or her in the future. There are many festivals which is celebrated at Chandigarh University and the main event is the CU fest.
