1) Internships are available as the university has tie ups or collaboration with many international companies globally. It focuses on bringing the best companies to the students. Also, the student can do internship from any company of their choice. Initially the internshis are non paid but later they are stippend by the company. Also in many cases the internships had earned the students permanent seats in the company.

2) CU deals with many MNC's and big organusations. Google, Microsoft, Boeing, TCS, WIPRO, Cognizent, Biocon are few reknowned companies which hire from CU in a huge scale, offering weighty packages.

3) Average salary figure can be estimated around 6LPA and highest upto 46LPA. To be very honest, no university can assure a hundred percent placemen with high package. CU provides grooming to every student through Specialised classes and make them prepared for the job interviews. 100% placement is guaranteed to deserving and hard working students.

4) Alumni network is very strong as CU has collaborated with organisations globally.

1) There are many hostels on and off campus but within the perimeter of 500m. All The girls hostels are situated inside campus and few boys hostels are situated outside the main campus but within a few metres. The hostels are totally secured. They have 24h free wifi, Proper drinking water, hygeinic and well maintained surroundings, Stationary shops, Canteens, Mess. Few hostels also have swimming pools and playgrounds. Rooms are fully furnished and spacious.

2) Hostel fee range from 80,000-1,20,000 per year depending upon the accomodation. Hostel fee incude both fooding and lodging.

3) There are many PG and rented accomodations available outside campus within a distance of 1km-10km. PGs generally charge around 3k-10k per month including fooding and lodging. Flats are also available for rent starting from 6k per month for 1bhk.

4) Food at campus is really amazing and hygienic. They have Domino's, KFC, Burger king, Subway and many more reknowned food hubs available on campus. Basic food canteens are also available on campus which serve home like food at very pocket friendly cost. Almost every cuisine is available in those canteens ranging from North india, South Indian, Continental to veg,Non veg, Jain.

5) Infrastructure is two steps ahead of everything. The campus consists of more than 20 buildings. Every department has their own building. Hostels cover a large area of the campus. The campus has playgrounds for almost every sport. They have gym, Swimming pool, Libraries in every building, Cycling tracks and what not. On campus wifi is aso available. Labs are highly equipped with all the necessary instruments. Apart from normal labs, specialised labs are also available for research work.

The elebility criteria for getting into CU is not that hard to meet. It only needs the student to acquire a 65% or above in their 10+2 for general students and for reseerved catagories the criteria gets redeemed by 5%.

1) Btech in CSE/ECE/Civil/Mechanical/mechatronis require PCB in 10+2 whereas BE in biotech or foodtech doesn't have any such criteria as it can be PCB or PCM or PCMB. From this year chandigarh universiy has arranged for a common entrace test which is applicable for scholarship purposes.(CUCET)

To avail merit based scholarships student must attempt CUCET prior to admission.

2) There is no entrance examination. CUCET( chandigarh university common entrance test) is conducted by the university only for students willing to take up scholarships.

3) Typical cutoff for any course is 65% or above in 10+2 for general category and 55% for reserved catagories.

1) Generally classes start fom 8:30 in the morning and run till 4:30 noon. In between a lunch break of an hour is given at around 12:30.

2) Method of teachinf is totally specialised and modernised. The teachers are highly knowledgable and experienced. Maximum of them are doctorates with proper teaching experience. Classrooms are highly equipped with smart boards and projectors. Lecture notes are provided throughout the session and every kind of doubt is cleared during or after class. Expert talk, Webinars, Seminars are arranged on a daily basis. Field trips are also conducted.

2) college and camus life is overwhelming. Campus is totally ragging free and there are innumerable help desks for any kind of trouble. Many extra-curricular activities are also conducted throughout the session in which any student can take part. Apart from studies, several conecerts, functions, guest performances, competetions, talent hunts are also organised by faculty and students both throughout the session. Studying has never been this fun before as CU maintains the proper balance between work and fun.

Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The fee for my course is between Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,20,000 for integrated CSE+ IBM.  For general degree courses they vary from 30,000-60,000.

2) Ample scholarship oppurtunities are available through CU. Few are listed below:-

• 10% consession on semester fee for single girl children.
• 10% consession on semester fee to children of defence personell.
• 10% consession on semester fee to students scoring above 85% in10+2
• 10% consession to students with good marks in competitive exams.
• sports criteria
• scholarships on merit level to students cracking CUCET.
• scholarships on merit level to students scoring 8gpa+ in even semesters.

2) Any deserving student can get the scholarship. If 100% student crack CUCET then all of them will get the scholarship

3) Loans are sanctioned from University itself through any recognised bank

1) Students play a very important role in the well being of the university. There are a lot of educational, social, Literature, Cultural, Tech, Management and cultural clubs with highly functional managing bodies. Every fresher can enroll in any club of their choice. Equal oppurtunity is given to every student and anyone with common interest can be a part of any club of their choice.

2) There's nothing as main function in CU. We don't need a reason to celebrate. Every other day CU organises for some guest performances or Cultaral fest. Sometimes, STudents with their departments permission arrange for functions. But, CU conducts a CU fest yearly which hell of a glory! Fresher's is also a bloom in CU. CU arranges for many events throughout in every field.

3) College life is amazing.
