After M.Sc in mathematics students have options for teaching and for further research as pursuing Ph.D. mathematics so they have both the options for teaching as an assistant professor and also studying as a research scholar. They have also options to find jobs in software companies as a numerical analyst in computer system design, operation research, software programming, and more. Some of the topnotch IT companies are also roles like oracle, Microsoft, Google, etc. Average salary figures INR 216000 per year for fresher and highest salary figures INR 300,000 per year and percentage more than 80% gets placed.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Chandigarh University provides separate hostels for girls and boys on campus. 5 hostels for girls and & 7 for boys.
Hostel fees are INR 84,000 per year including mess charges.
PGs and flats are also provided by the university outside the campus. The cost is 5000 per month without mess charges. The food in college is very good and tasty. Good quantity and quality.
The quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi, and other key infrastructure are very good and fully organized.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria were a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% in case of SC/ST category with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Academics and Faculty
Daily routine in university is 9:30 am-4:30 pm working hours of the university. Each lecture in the university has one hour.
CU conducts 2 MST internal exams and one final exam external exam of each subject every semester. Three assignments of each subject in each semester. The quality and method of teaching is excellent and the overall experience has been fantastic and proud to be a part of this university.

Activities are educational related processes and procedures intended to stimulate learning through real-time experience. In the university students have many societies and clubs like M-FIELD Club- M-Field club deals basically with mathematics, Femto Chem Club- Femto Chem Creation Club is an interdisciplinary club that deals basically in science, Udaan- This club aims in promoting a vibrant campus experience through organizing innumerable activities which enhance students skills and accentuate their understanding and learning graph, Enviro Club- This Club is involved in a diversity of programs aimed at promoting environmental consciousness and protecting the environment, Tech Path Finder- The Club provides a platform to students for sharing ideas and innovations in a computer-related field, Tech Ocean Club- Apart from upgrading the professional skills, the Tech Ocean Club seeks to bring together individuals, institutions and Education to evolve and Develop Engineering Practices. Society of Applied Sciences- This society provides the platform to the students of 1st year Engineering for a real-time experience to sharpen their professional skills and capabilities. Experiential learning, leadership capability, and ability to work in a team are some of the essential requirements of present-day working in the corporate field. There are many festivals like tech invent, cultural events, festival events, sports events, youth festivals, international folk festivals, etc. Life in college, in general, is very friendly and happy environment.

The hostel mess serves fresh and hygienic food. You will be provided with facilities like internet, music room, and common room with TV & cable facility, salon facilities, room for indoor games and a reading room with a collection of national/international newspapers, magazines, etc. The hostels’ houses have a fully equipped gym and separate courts for Volleyball, BasketBall, and Badminton.
