During my MTECH I was working as a research scholar in the ECE department and was getting paid by the university. Placement of my university is pretty good and my university holds a place in limca book of records for the maximum number of companies visiting the campus as compared to other universities.  there is a Department of career planning and development in the university which helps university students in their placements by providing them trainings and regular monitoring of students based on their performance is done. moreover, I opted for this university because of the best placements with 600+ companies visiting the campus. The highest package offered to the student is 31 LPA and the average is about 4 LPA.

Campus life is really good. The campus is vast and it's strewn with over 50 food joints and convenience stores. The campus is also very aesthetically pleasing with gardens and world-class infrastructure. there are 8 hostels within the campus and the hostel fee is about 90000 per year. moreover, pgs are also available nearby the university with minimal cost of 5000 per month.

For admission to this university, you can apply for the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) which provides up to 100% scholarships to hardworking and sincere students. Minimum percentage required for admission to this university is 55%

The course curriculum is very well designed, relevant & flexible with input from experts. Industrial training is quite prevalent & our University organizes industrial visits frequently.

The teaching system is elaborate, detailed & advanced. Each and every professor here are Ph.D. holders from IIT or other esteemed institutions & are extremely well versed in the subjects they're supposed to teach. Lectures are delivered with the help of presentations related to the subject alongside whiteboard and markers. faculty here in Chandigarh university is Cooperative and has high expertise in their field of specialization.

My course fee was 40000 and it depends upon your graduation percentage as they provide scholarships based on B.E./BTECH percentage. My BE percentage was 79 percent so I got a 20% scholarship from the university. There is no additional fee/charge. Fee can be paid through online mode as well as offline mode in the university accounts branch. Chandigarh University provides scholarships to SC/ST candidates as well in which they just have to pay 2000 rupees for any course they are admitted.

Chandigarh University directly provides students with an opportunity to directly participate in India's top-notch competition facilitated by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU): AIU-Northzone and AIU-National Youth Festival where you can participate in any category be it, sports or arts.
