Placements and Internships
It is one of the best universities for placements in North India.
The highest package stream wise was:
1. 31.77 LPA For Engineering
2. 14 LPA For Management
3. 12 LPA For Hotel Management
There are several batches (like industry-sponsored BE CSE, Hotel & Tourism Management, etc.) that witnessed 100% percent placements.
the average salary which was offered by the various companies was around 4.5 lakh but in case of CSE and IBM department the figure is quite high

Entrance Exams and Admissions
eligibility criteria of civil engineering course is that you should be pass class 12 class with good marks, in CU they have various scholarships based on the marks and CU conducts their own exam for 100% scholarship

for first 3-year class timings are 9:30 to 4:20
cu has 5 days of working systems
In the last year, subjets are less and we focused more on research work and projects

As I am a 2016-2020 batch student, Rs. 64500/- was my course fee at Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarhbut now the fees are much higher than the previous one
loans are needed or not.it totally depends upon parents.if someone requires loan it is easily available Chandigarh university will help you about the loan inside the campus three banks are there sbi,hdfc,j and k bank you will easily get a loan from there

main festivals on campus are sports meet, tech event,cu fest, aiu fest etc
different clubs are formed to boost up the students

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for admission to BE mechatronics is 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ST quota. I gave JEE mains entrance exam but its not mandatory for admission in CU, its for scholarship and one can get up to 100% scholarship. There are no cut-offs for the courses instead direct admission is allowed but recently after getting NAAC A+ accreditation, CUCET entrance test is made compulsory for different exams.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : With more than 22000 students enrolling every year, admission for all programs is done through CUCET scores and counseling conducted by the university. Certain programs accept different scorecards for admission. In the case of the BTech/ BArch program, admission is done on the basis of the JEE Main Paper of respective branches. For M.E./M.Arch, the candidate must have a recent valid score of GATE.
