I did an internship at JSW Vallabh Steel Pvt Limited without stipend. Key roles are Graduate Engineer Trainee, CAD designer, Programmer, and Robotics & Automation engineer.

The average salary per year is about INR 4.5 to 5 LPA and the highest package offered is INR 12 LPA. Nearly, 70% of students in our batch 2016-20 got placed. The alumni network is also very strong.

Eligibility criteria for admission to BE mechatronics is 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ST quota.

I gave JEE mains entrance exam but its not mandatory for admission in CU, its for scholarship and one can get up to 100% scholarship.

There are no cut-offs for the courses instead direct admission is allowed but recently after getting NAAC A+ accreditation, CUCET entrance test is made compulsory for different exams.

Class timings are from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The university has experienced and skilled faculty with good knowledge of their domains. The overall experience is satisfactory and its a college worth joining.

The scholarship options are available based on 12th marks and JEE Mains rank. The university also offers scholarships for army background in family, wards of teachers, or old student and COVID-19 Warrior scholarship.

Many student clubs are there for every department. In mechatronics, Robotics club organizes student workshops, events, and competitions like ROBO Race, Amphibian Bot, Robowars, Pick and Place Bot Challenge. Many festivals and fests like AIU Cultural fest, Punjab Youth Fest, Techinvent, Abdul kalam Innovation Day, and CUFEST are held every year. The college life at CU is amazing and awesome.
