This university has come up to my expectations from the very first day. This is one the most diverse university I have ever been to or seen or heard of.

As an active agent of social change, Chandigarh University takes on voluntary actions in the creation of a culture of social responsibility in society through various activities for the welfare of the society. It trains students and encourage them as well to take part in such activities.

The Ministry of Tourism launched a special initiative called Hunar Se Rozgar Tak (HSRT). This Short-term course is being run at Chandigarh University which Started in 2011. Chandigarh University has also collaborated with Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board (PHTPB) and offers trainings and certifications regarding it. Chandigarh University has launched ‘Save Me- My Environment, My Earth’ Campaign in collaboration with National Green Tribunal (NGT).

There are other programs as well, like the SMART Junior program, which is an initiative of Chandigarh University and is aimed at transforming the school students into the smart juniors by providing them skills and platform to exhibit their talents.
