The opportunities for Internships were limited but there were really good companies where students could start their careers. I got a campus placement to EY where I worked for 5+ years.
Its really easy to get accommodation near Christ, there are soo many options, college hostel has limited slots so if you plan to stay there you have to book well in advance. Other than the college hostel there are so many PGs and other hostels run by private parties which is really affordable and clean. The options food is also easily available, there so many dabbawallas, small hotels and some really good street food available near the college. The campus also has a vast number of food options at affordable prices. Christ has the best infrastructure I've seen, that has it all, smart classes, multiple libraries wifi, dining halls, football courts, basketball courts, tennis courts etc.
Routine classes start from 6.30AM to 1.00 PM ( This includes the ad-on professional course you are pursuing). The faculty was always the best because they were all industry experts and focused on the practical aspect of the subject.
Christ University, Bangalore Management Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 50k per year for B.Com and close to 100k a year for CIMA, this will vary from student to student based on what additional courses you pursue. There was no scholarship options available for students, this is an area that Christ can explore.
Extracurricular activities are part and parcel of Christ life, you have some activity or the other that happen throughout the year. Street play, Drama club, choir, dance, bands, CSR clubs, NCC etc.are some of the popular clubs students join when in Christ. I was part of the club know as SIFE ( now known as ENACTUS) where we won a 1L grant to stat up a self-sustainable environment inside the campus.
