Mayank Kamboj's Review on UPES, Dehradun

Currently, I am in the first year so I am not eligible for the internship but my seniors have applied for the I tern and they are pursuing the intern in the industries related to the domain. Many of them are going to foreign for the internship. Talking about the placements, UPES is well known for its placements and many of the core companies like Microsoft, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai etc. Surely visits college every year for the placement and the average package is about INR 6-7Lakh rupees and touching the maximum of around INR 27 lakh rupees previous year. The Alumni network of our college is very strong as it has been serving nation past 13 years.

The hostel fee is around INR 1lakh30000 rupees per year and there are hostels available outside the campus also that offers you the optimum quality of living. College infrastructure is also very good and it has secured its place among the topmost beautiful campuses in ASIA.

If you have a minimum of 60% marks in your intermediate and also in matriculation only then you are eligible to apply for UPES and there are two ways to get admission first me is the examination pathway(online and offline) and the second one is through boards merit. If you are able to solve 80%of your UPESEAT paper then there are the chances that you can get the admission.

College starts at 9.30a.m. and ends at about 5.30p.m. The curriculum is well maintained and education quality is superb.

Talking about the fee there is a different fee for different semesters and you can say that 4-5lakhs rupees including hostel fee and all expenditure can easily be spent while studying in UPES. There are plenty of scholarship options available for the students and if you are among top 10% of your branch then you can surely get a scholarship. Not in all cases loans are needed but if they are then they can easily be availed from the banks like SBI, OBC etc.

There are many societies related to each and every branch that actively conducts many fests in the college. Moreover, college on its own behalf conducts two annual fests named URJAA and IGNITE. The college life of UPES os excellent.
