As I am at 1st year, I have not done any internship yet. There are many good companies that make a visit to KJ college Avg salary is about 5-6 lakh This college is one of the best colleges for mechanical engineering in Mumbai
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 2 hostels And also there are PG nearby The college also have the canteen which has a very good food, and full Somaiya campus has a wifi facility
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria are clearly on the basis of marks that we got in MH-CET, JEE-Main score, admission procedure is as done on the basis of DTE rules. To get admission in this college we have to apply for test that is MH-CET or JEE mains. The cutoff of this college are high, it's not easy to take admission in this college, but if come under Gujarati minority then some chance is given to them as some low cutoff is selected for them, in 2017 the general cutoff was 152 and minority cutoff was 116 for mechanical engineering.
Academics and Faculty
College starts at 10 am and ends up to 5 pm. Quality of teaching is very good.The college has a good campus. The college has the best faculty

1.8 lakh per year. There are many scholarships available No, it's not on the number yeah, by KJSCE the toppers get the scholarship but in generally whoever is applicable, they get their scholarship.

Academics & Faculty : In K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar, Mumbai, the classes starts at 9:30AM till 5:15PM, it comprises usually of one practical session of 2hours,a lunch break of 45 minutes and 5 lectures of an hour each. The Quality of teaching is very nice, all the teachers are very co-operative, use of videos, slides is also made. Overall experience is awesome campus is very large.
