Sibanand Patro's Review on SRMIST - SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

I recently got an internship offer from GETMYUNI through SRM Campus drive and the duration is for 3 months with a stipend ofINR 5000.

There are companies in a lot of numbers that come to SRM for hiring especially in the field of IT & SOFTWARE. many companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Google that come to SRM. Overall the campus placement is very good at SRM.

The average salary figure is around 3-5 LPA. The highest package is 18 LPA from Qualcomm. The percentage of batches student gets placed is around 80-90%.

Alumni network is really good. they keep on connecting with SRM that helps and motivates everyone.

There are around 20 hostels with large capacity.The facilities in the hostel are good everything you need will be easily available.The hostel fees per month are around INR 10000 per month including mess.

There are a lot of options outside and they are very affordable around INR 3000 per month.

The food is good.It costs around INR 30-40 per meal.

The infrastructure is very good and a healthy environment inside the college. The classes and labs are of good quality.The dining hall is so clean. Wi-Fi is super fast

Hey, this is Sibananda, I am from SRM University, Chennai(Main Campus).I started my graduation in the year 2014.The eligibility criteria for SRM is 70% in PCM(i.e Physics, Chemistry & Maths).The admission procedure is pretty simple you just have to enter into SRM homepage (srmuniv.ac.in) there you can find apply for B.Tech.You have to fill the application form for SRM entrance exam choose your respective course.

I appeared SRM JEE and through that, i got admission I SRM University.

The cutoff was , 15000 rank for my course(EEE) i.e at around a score of 70%.  

My course fees at SRM University Kanchipuram is INR 1.85L per year.

There are many scholarships available on the site of SRM and there will be a lot available once you get into it.

Around 30-40% student gets scholarships.

Exactly not, SRM has given this facility also that u can pay the fees later.but if u want to take the loan then yes you can easily access it through almost every bank.

There are many clubs in different fields. Associations are in such numbers that you can access them easily.

Different festivals are celebrated on the campus every month, cultural fests, sports functions are there throughout the year.

Its quite busy life in the college. I got engaged in many fields. Overall life is adventurous.
