Big company like Microsoft, Goldman's Sach etc come here for placement. The average salary is INR 18 lacks per annum and highest package is 1.13 crore given by Microsoft.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 6 hostels and fee is very low INR 1000 per semester. The classroom has AC facility. Every department has its own library.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
We have to qualify for JEE Advanced exam to get admission in IIT Guwahati. The cutoff for this course is rank 1754.
Academics and Faculty
Classes starts from 8 am to 12 pm. There are two quiz and 2 semester examination and 1 assignments. This is one of the best engineering college in India.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 2.5 lacks per year including hostel fee and mess charges. This is a government college so about 60% of students get scholarship. Loan is easily available by SBI Bank.
Clubs and Associations
There are various clubs like social club, electronics club, coding club, robotics club etc. The two major festivals are Alcheringa and Technice, first one is cultural and second one is technical. Life in college is good.
