For admission into this institute, one needs to write BITSAT or SAT (added just recently). I had written BITSAT to get admission into the institute. General cutoff for my course generally is near 370/450.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Qualifying BIT SAT is the only way to get into BITS. Typically, the cutoff is around 350 for EEE.
