Placements and Internships
- I do not have any idea about Campus Placements and internships but I think there is Campus placement for MSc (Computer Science)at RRC
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Classrooms and Laboratries are good. Laboratries for Chemistry especially are excellent and are 5-6 in all. the college is a mere 5 mins walk from Matunga Station and also near to the bus stand and the highway.
- It is next to Poddar College of Commerce and Wellingker's Institute of Management. Ruia has a huge Library, one of the biggest in Mumbai.
Academics and Faculty
- The college was established in 1937, and over the years has earned a reputation for itself among one of the top colleges in Mumbai. It is affliated to Mumbai University but from the academic year 2015-2016, it is going to be an Autonomous Institution.
- It was recently awarded College of Excellence by UGC. the college covers a variety of subjects in Arts and Science streams from 11th to MSc and Phd. Teachers are the best, in classrooms as well as in co-curricular activities. They also guide and help in matters outside syllabus like carrer paths and choices.
Fees and Scholarships
- The college fee is depends upon the subject, but mostly it is very feasible.
- Scholarships are available. More information can be obtained by contacting the college office who will guide you further.
Clubs and Associations
- Ruia focusses a great deal on extra-curricular activities. There is Students council and many different departments in it ranging from Literary to Fine Arts to Science Clubs. It also has a Rotaract Club.
- Sports events go on whole year and there is a week every year for intra college events. The college also is keen in representing itself at inter-college events and has a sports faculty, gym and badminton court too.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The cutoff score for Ramnarain Ruia College is 65% The eligibility criteria is a 10+2 qualification from a science background. There are no such entrance exams for BSc admissions. The MSc admissions are on the basis of merit.
