Bhoopati Jindal's Review on Panjab University, Chandigarh

Yes, our university has a strong Central Placement Cell which works a lot for the placement. Here, we have summer internships in the month of June, so that the students can enhance their knowledge in their respective fields of interest. Many of the companies come here for the placement. The average salary is near about INR 5 lakhs per annum and the highest salary was INR 9 lakhs per annum. 60-70% students get placed every year. We have very strong alumni network.

The infrastructure is quite good. The university is spread over 250 acres. The entire university has been centrally connected to a hi-speed Wi-Fi network. The classrooms are big and have a laddered structure for the better visibility of the board. Each classroom has a projector and has ACs. There is a medical center inside the campus and has a 24*7 ambulance service available.

The students have to clear PU CET for admission at Punjab University.

In Panjab University, classes start at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm with a 1-hour break for the lunch. The quality of teaching is very good and teachers help a lot to students with each and every problem. Overall experience is excellent over here in the univrsity.

All the festivals are celebrated in the campus like Lohri, Holi, teachers' day etc.
