No student has to arrange a company on their own for the internship and no alumni so far.
There are 15 hostels. Hostel fee ranges from INR 1,00,000 to INR 4,72,000 per year including mess fees. PGs are good and cheaper compare to the hostel. Mess food is not that good. Libary is one of the best libraries in India. Wifi speed is also good and the limit of WiFi is 30GB per month.
The eligibility criteria for Aerospace engineering in SRM university is 60 percent marks in PCM. You have to appear for SRMJEEE. There is no cut off rank for it and the seats are also available after counseling.
Classes timings are from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday is a holiday for all. For first year, teachers are not that good and the teaching is like of school. The quality of teaching is also not that great.
The course fee is INR 3,75,000 and it may increase in the future. There is no scholarship for students but, loans are available easily in all the banks.
There are 15 to 20 technical clubs and many additional clubs for students to learn and explore new things. The seniors in college are awesome and you can enjoy your college life to the fullest.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to pass 12th science with fair results and need to clear SRMJEE entrance for engineering admissions or you can pay donations as per the department you choose to study.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : SRMJEE is the exam to be taken up.You need a total rank of 50000 or less to get a seat in aerospace engineering and 60% aggregate in PCM class 13th
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in SRM University you should qualify in SRMSAT it's an entrance exam. For Aerospace engineering 20000 ranks is enough. And you have to score 70 % in PCM.
