- Manufacturing company visit the Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya campus for placements.
- The alumni network is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Only one girls hostel is present in Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and the hostel fee is Rs. 2,500 per month including food and rent charges.
- The hostel condition is very poor.
- PGs are available near the campus which cost Rs. 22,000 per year.
- The labs facility is not so good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for joining Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is clearing the JEE MAIN exam.
- The cut-off for the course is 70 for OBC students.
Academics and Faculty
- Per Sem, there is a 2 class test, 1 mid sem exam, 1 end sem exam, and then 2 to 3 practicals, internal and external exams.
- Overall experience is good at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.

JEE MAIN is conducted (AIEEE before)on all India exam . It varies every year at my time of admission in 2013, the cut off for general candidates is approximate 60000 in all India rank to get into Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya
