Placements and Internships
- If we talk about internships, stipend, placements, job e.t.c then I am sorry because I am pursuing my graduation, not any professional subject.
- I have botany, zoology, chemistry as my subjects so I think these are not enough to fetch me aforementioned things.
- This is one drawback as the university do not offer bachelor's degree in any professional course if you are opting a B.sc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- I am a permanent resident of Allahabad so I don't know much about hostels and PGs.
- Allahabad University, [AU] Allahabad campus is quite big with lush green surroundings and buildings to represent a gothic style of architecture.
- Each department has large lecture theaters devoid of modern facilities, well-equipped labs, museums and research labs.
- We don't have a canteen in our college and dustbins are hardly found. Thanks to Digital India program this year our college started providing wifi.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Every year entrance examination for graduation is conducted by Allahabad University, [AU] Allahabad itself.
- Like many other colleges, the admission criteria was same, the student should have passed his/her intermediate with science.
- Over the years, the competition has become tougher, as it is a central university many students apply for the course.
- The typical cutoffs for this course depend upon the difficulty of the paper.
Academics and Faculty
- Regular classes in Allahabad University, [AU] Allahabad begins in morning around 10:00 am.
- Practicals form an important part of our course and are mainly emphasized. They are conducted daily, without any failure, but when it comes to theory part then leniency can be observed.
- Quality and method of teaching are obsolete, although the faculty is trying to make improvements but still much more needs to be done in order to provide high-level education to students.
- Projects and assignment as such are not given, only practicals are focussed a whole year and we just need to maintain a record of it. We don't have semester system, an examination is held annually probably in the month of march.
- If we come to the question of my overall experience then my response would be mixed. It feels great to be a part of a central university.
- College life is the important phase in one's lifetime. Neither excellent curriculum nor other interesting activities can be expected here.
- You can just expect a degree after three years. These three years taught me independence along with responsibility.
Fees and Scholarships
- Well if you are a student of the central university then you don't have to worry much about your fee. The course fee in Allahabad University, [AU] Allahabad is just Rs. 1,000 per year.
- Scholarship options are also available for students who are economically weaker.
- There is an online procedure for it, whoever applies for it gets Rs. 4,000 per year.
Clubs and Associations
- I am not aware of any student societies, clubs, and associations in Allahabad University, [AU] Allahabad campus but yes every year elections are held so a lot of enthusiasm can be seen around.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For entrance exams for bsc bio, you should study from NCERT books and there is no negative marking and cutoff is 164 out of 300.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : My eligibility depends upon of performance, Allahabad university takes admission on basis of cutoff (or how much your marks obtained ) so this is the procedure of admission I took the examination for BSC 600 marks was there and 350 marks were height But 174 marks obtained and after getting admission in Allahabad University.
