  • National Institute of Technology hostel has a mess which at times is run on a co-operative basis.
  • Food is served in the mess.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2015 or 2016; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2017. 
  • Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2014 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2018 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2017.
  • Candidates who appeared in class 12th/equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2014, did not pass in 2014, but passed in 2015 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2017.Admission to all B.Tech courses is made through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE(Main).
  • The counselling for this is done by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
  • Additionally, the Institute offers integrated M.Sc and M.Tech degree which is of 5 years duration.
  • Admission to 5 years integrated programs is made from JEE(Main) or similar National level test, along with the admission for B.Tech in National Institute of Technology.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission procedure for the course was through AIEEE during my time; which is JEE (Mains) as of now.  Typical cutoffs for my branch at that time was 16000 AIR in my category (General).
