Placements and Internships
- I did 2 internships
1. DRDO arranged myself during summer break - 2nd year ; got chance to write a paper to present that in a some conference in bangalore.
- A very wide variety of companies visit the campus : Tecnical , NonTechincal, Startups, PSUs, Indian Navy, etc
- A very big advantage of DTU is its well established Alumni network in India/Abroad. Also helps in MS addmissions in US and other countries.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Enough number of hostels room quality is only average.
- Hostel Mess food is Ok and sometimes, its better to have at canteen.
- nfrastructure is good but not all labs are well equiped. Huge air conditioned library where you can comfortably spend time there.
Academics and Faculty
Classes usually begin at 9 am with 1 hr lectures usually tend to be effective for around 30-40 mins. Good professors will give assignments, but there are only few good professors. If you score well in mid-sems (limited syllabus - 20 mks), it will ease up the pressure during end-sems. You get ample free time to engage in various college activites (sports, various clubs, competitions etc), excellent canteen. DTU is worthy of being called a college and not an extended school.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee was around Rs 28,000/- per year
- Not much idea about scholarships.
Clubs and Associations
- Various student societies for electrical, compSc, Mech depts.
- Clubs : Dramatics, Dance, Sports, Music, etc.
- College life is very cool and ample opportunities to try out a lot of things.

Placements & Internships : Many companies do visit Delhi Technological University campus every year to offer internships with a stipend ranging from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month. Key companies are Texas Instruments, PayTm, Qualcomm, Samsung, Amazon, Adobe etc which offer various roles like software developers, hardware engineer, Developer etc. Average package is around Rs. 6 Lakh PA. The highest package is Rs. 27 Lakh PA which can be extended depending upon your caliber. Almost 90% of the batch gets placed every year from DTU.
Fees & Scholarships : My course fee is Rs 75000 Per annum. Scholarships are available for reserved categories, Branch toppers and also to people who are below a certain income level.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : DCE had a great infrastructure. The campus was new at that time and the hostels were nice too.
