Placements and Internships
- I have done an internship for 20 days in a drug and pharmaceutical company, but I did not receive a stipend.
- Many companies come for placement like Wipro, cognizant, CTS and TCS.
- 80% of the students get placed and their starting salary is around Rs 2-4lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are many hostels available for students, the fees are around Rs 1-2 lakhs including food per year.
- PG'S are a good option only if you get roommates, otherwise, it's a waste of money.
- Canteen is good and the cost is 100rs per meal.
- The classrooms, library and labs are good.
Academics and Faculty
- The college routine includes 3 different labs, 2 core subjects and 3 elective subjects.
- I'm in my 6th semester and we have a mini project to finish according to our curriculum, most of the materials are being given to us by our college. but few are to be purchased.
- For example, I need an antibiotic for my project which isn't available in my college, it is around 1k which has to come out of my pocket.
- Faculty very approachable and their teaching is also good.
- College experience is good, but a little hectic.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs. 2,35,000/-
- Scholarship options are available to students who excel in academics, for example, 9 pointers.
- Around 2-3 students avail scholarship.
- A Loan is required as the fees is a bit on the higher end, loans can be availed from various banks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I can say as much about my college. It is one of the topmost institutions in India. i proudly say that its just awesome. Let me tell you eligibility criteria for joining in SRM. 1. You should have passed in HSC with minimum 60% in physics, chemistry and Maths for joining in Engineering
Academics & Faculty : Daily routine is a bit tedious. College begins right at 8.00 am in the morning and gets over at 4.00 pm. Assigmnments are to be submitted for all the theory subjects from all the theory subjects. Per subject two assignments are to be submitted. There are surprise tests taken at any time of the week. Quality of teaching is very good and the laboratories are highly equiped. Overall experince in college is awesome. It helps you in realising who you are and what you can do better and where is your weakness. College has made me storong, highly independent, discilined and has given me the courage to try out new things.
Academics & Faculty : We are planning to do a mini project which will be guided by our faculty in SRM University - [SRM], Kanchipuram. The course provides us the best jobs. The teaching is best when compared with all the universities in Tamil Nadu. The professors are helpful to us even in clarifying doubts during nights also.
