Several MNCs visits Chandigarh University every year to hire fresh graduates. I have got one internship offer from Mahindra & Mahindra, which I will do in the 7th semester. Because of the massive demand for IT professionals, they got the highest package and offers from the company as a software developer, web developer, and many others. Apart from IT, other department students also receive an excellent valued offer from the companies. Mostly the average salary of the placed students is between 6-8 lacs per annum. The highest package offered so far is 36 lacs per annum.

Chandigarh University hostel is well maintained, and every corner of the hostel are adequately cleaned every day. They will charge Rs 80,000 up to Rs 1,50,000 hostel fee, including accommodation and food. I must say the food provided in the hostel is healthy, but the taste is authentic. Taking about the college infrastructure, classes, labs are looking neat and clean facilitated with every kind of equipment needed. You can access college Wi-Fi from anywhere inside the campus.

For my course, you should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in all primary subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Math's and English in +2 and there can be two ways to get admission to Chandigarh University. The first is via an entrance exam, and the second is direct admission. Since I am an international student, I didn't have to give any entrance exam, but domestic students can take either CUSAT or CUCET.

Usually, class starts from 9:40 AM and can run till 4:00 PM depending on the courses you are enrolled in. The quality is teaching is unquestionable. You can get every kind of support from the teacher and faculty. I would say my experience in college has been really good since the beginning and I get immense support from the faculty member be it project, be it doubt.

There are several options available for scholarships. You can get a scholarship as per your JEE Mains ranking, an entrance exam position, several corporate scholarships, government scholarships, etc. (30 to 40% of students get scholarships). The fees may vary depending on the department. I have got a 50% scholarship based on my +2 marks, so I am paying 52000 per semester.

Chandigarh University organizes several events and festivals like Youth Fest, Fresher's Party etc. So, you get all the exposure of the university while pursuing your degree.
