The average salary figures range between INR 3 Lakh to INR 4.5 Lakh per annum. The university's alumni network is brilliant; it brings the traditional prestigious organizations to the campus and budding startups, letting students have a better professional choice.

Chandigarh University has more than 10 hostels on the campus itself, and the hostel fee varies, depending upon the type of hostel chosen. The hostel fee varies between INR 81,000 to INR 1.35 Lakh annually. 24/7 Wi-Fi facility is provided with various other facilities like gymnasium, indoor gardens, canteens etc. The quality of food being offered in the hostel is very hygienic and clean.

There are plenty of rental homes and PG's available near the campus, which costs approximately INR 3500 to INR 5500 per month. Every department has its own library. The quality of every other key infrastructure is quite hygienic and immaculate.

Chandigarh University is one of the youngest and leading private universities, which offers numerous courses, ranging from basic to advance. The eligibility criterion for this undergraduate course, BE Chemical Engineering, is to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in secondary education from a recognized national/state board of education. Further, a student has to appear in the national entrance examination for engineering, also known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). If their rank is less than 1,25,000, they can avail of the scholarship. In addition, since it is a student-oriented university, it provides aspirants with a common entrance exam called Chandigarh University Common Entrance Exam (CUCET) to avail scholarships.

A normal day at Chandigarh University begins from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, including theoretical lectures, tutorials, laboratory classrooms and projects. Every subject has an assignment which is needed to be submitted before the completion of a certain unit. In addition, class tests and surprise tests are there, and after completion of every unit, mid-semester tests are there to evaluate the learning.

The quality and method of teaching is immaculate. It includes the traditional teaching method and includes the employment of videos and photographs to make learning interesting.

The university offers numerous scholarships example, merit scholarship schemes, CUCET scholarship for family members of Chandigarh University staff, merit scholarship schemes etc. Approximately 5% of students from a batch avail scholarship. The university has set up separate loan assistance in the cell to enable the students at the time of admission to obtain loans from banks with which the university has tie-ups, such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, SBI.

The University has various societies, clubs and associations on campus. For this course, the departmental club is called the society of chemical engineers, which is a form to stimulate students' intellectual growth and enhance professional leader capabilities.

Moreover, various festivals are celebrated on campus, including technical events like Tech-fest, cultural festivals like Youth Festival, etc. Not only this but traditional festivals are also celebrated united. Life at Chandigarh University is one of its kind and is an experience one should not miss out on.
