Chandigarh University is one of the youngest and leading private universities, which offers numerous courses, ranging from basic to advance. The eligibility criterion for this undergraduate course, BE Chemical Engineering, is to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in secondary education from a recognized national/state board of education. Further, a student has to appear in the national entrance examination for engineering, also known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). If their rank is less than 1,25,000, they can avail of the scholarship. In addition, since it is a student-oriented university, it provides aspirants with a common entrance exam called Chandigarh University Common Entrance Exam (CUCET) to avail scholarships.
A normal day at Chandigarh University begins from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, including theoretical lectures, tutorials, laboratory classrooms and projects. Every subject has an assignment which is needed to be submitted before the completion of a certain unit. In addition, class tests and surprise tests are there, and after completion of every unit, mid-semester tests are there to evaluate the learning.
