Placements and Internships
- Currently, I am pursuing my internship at GetMyUni with my profile as content marketing. My stipend is INR 6,000 per month.
- Major companies hiring from our college are EY GDS, Marico, Asian Paints, Deloitte, Decathlon, Big Basket, etc. The majority of the roles offered are in marketing and finance profile.
- Average salary figures at LBSIM vary between INR 9 LPA and INR 10 LPA, with the highest salary figures varying every year. 100% of the batch gets placed every year.
- The Alumni network of LBSIM is pretty strong. LBBSIM has alumni from various parts of the country, and some are from outside India as well.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two boys hostel and one girl's hostel available for students outside the Delhi NCR region. Hostel fees is INR 1.5 lacs for the first year and INR 1.65 lacs for the second year.
- Food in college is good, and its cost varies with what item you want to eat. Every variety of food is available in the college canteen.
- Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, with projectors available in every classroom for teaching purpose. College also provides a free wi-fi facility along with well-developed labs and a library.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for LBSIM is that the student must be having a bachelor's degree with atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any college or institute incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India.
- The college takes admission through the Common Admission Test (CAT) entrance exam.
- CAT cutoff for PGDM general course at LBSIM is around 85 percentile.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine of college is fully packed. Classes start from 9:30 in the morning and go on till 5 in the evening. Projects and assignments are given by faculty weekly for learning the purpose of the students. Exams are held in 2 portions, midterm exams after 1.5 months and end-term exams after three months of a trimester.
- The quality of teaching is good, with faculty giving a complete understanding of the concepts in every subject during classroom learning, and students also learn through projects and assignment.
- The overall experience at LBSIM is pretty good.
Fees and Scholarships
- Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, [LBSIM] New Delhi Fee Structure. The total course fee is about INR 11,67,500. The course fee is distributed into four instalments across the span of 2 years.
- College offers scholarships to students based on their family income.
- The number of students getting scholarship depends on the number of scholarships the college offers for that particular year.
- The need for loans depends upon the student's financial condition taking admission at LBSIM, and the choice of bank is as per the student's convenience only.
Clubs and Associations
- The college consists of several academic clubs, non-academic clubs which includes sports club, cultural clubs, etc. It also has an alumni cell to remain in contact with the college's alumni and the placement cell to manage all the college placement-related activities.
- The main festivals of the college are samarthya month and tatva. In samarthya month, every academic and non-academic club organising some events with participation is only within the college. During tatva, every club organises multiple events, and students from other colleges participate in these events.
- In general, life is college is pretty good.
