NMMS Registration 2024

NMMS exam has been scheduled to be conducted across states/UTs from September 2024 till December 2024 in pen and paper mode. in November and December in all states/UTs. Students who plan to attempt the exam must adhere to the NMMS registration 2024 of their region. Note that while the students can download the NMMS application form 2024 online, they must submit it in offline mode only. NMMS Registration 2024: Offline Process

Students who wish to apply for NMMS registration 2024 through the offline mode, can contact their respective school coordinator or headmaster for the NMMS Registration Process 2024.

• First, get the NMMS registration 2024 form from the respective teacher-in-charge, headmaster, or principal.

NMMS Registration 2024: Online Process

Students must follow the step-by-step NMMS registration 2024 process given below to help students complete their NMMS online application form without difficulty.

Step 1: First, visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Step 2: Once on the homepage, apply for NMMS registration 2024 on the portal as a new user by filling in all the necessary details. Here, the students have to choose a "New Registration" and sign up; the old users can log in on the portal.

Step 3: The students have to provide relevant information in the NMMS online form. The candidate must fill in the required details such as personal details, address book, bank details, and governmental identity number. Once they have registered, students should note the application id for future reference.

Step 4: After getting the NMMS registration 2024 ID, land on the home page and click on login to apply for the detailed application form. Upon successful NMMS Exam Registration, it is necessary to change the password if login is done for the first time. 

Step 5: As the applicant logs in, an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number. After verifying the OTP, the applicant is redirected to a page where the password should be changed. Once the student changes the password, they will be directed to the applicant's dashboard page.

Step 6: Information like educational qualifications, Aadhaar number, school enrollment number, bank details, the state domicile, etc., are required to be filled by the candidate during NMMS registration 2024.

Step 7: The original ID of the candidate is generated after registering on NSP. This application ID is used as a 'Login ID' on NSP and for future reference.

Step 8: The applicant studying in classes 9th and 10 needs to apply under the pre-matric scholarship category. The candidate studying in classes 11 and 12 needs to apply for NMMS registration 2024 under the post-matric scholarship category.

Step 9: The applicant must be conscientious while filling in details like the applicant's name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

Step 10: Students must upload all the necessary documents and save the details as a draft.

Step 11: After ensuring that all the information is correct and appropriate in the NMMS registration 2024 form, the students must finally submit the completed application form.

NMMS Registration 2024 Fee

NMMS registration 2024 fees may vary depending on the state. Students must note that most of the states don't charge any NMMS exam application fee. However, in some states, students might be expected to submit an Yes of up to INR 200.

NMMS Registration 2024: Documents Required

Those who are filling out the NMMS registration 2024 form will be required to attach copies of the relevant documents in the prescribed format. Further, all such documents need to be attested by the parents and the school headmaster.

• Income Certificate (Annual income should be INR 1.5 Lakh per annum or less from all the sources)

NMMS Registration 2024 Dates

NMMS scholarship aims to award meritorious students who come from economically weaker sections. The authorities encourage such students to continue their education at the secondary and higher secondary levels by participating in the NMMS registration 2024.

NMMS Registration 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for NMMS registration 2024 must first check if they qualify based on the given eligibility criteria. Moreover, Under a decentralized scheme, a separate test is conducted by each State/UT to select students who will be given a scholarship.

• The general students of class VIII must have a minimum 55% score and the reserved category students must have 50% to be eligible.
• The applicant’s parents must not have an annual income of more than Rs. 3,50,000.
• General Students and Reserved Category students applying for NMMS registration 2024 must obtain 55% and 50% in class IX and XI respectively to continue the .
• General Students and Reserved Category students must obtain 60% and 55% in the class X exam respectively, to continue the scholarship.
• Note that Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Sainik Schools cannot apply for the scholarship.
• In addition, those studying in residential schools run by state government institutions with facilities like boarding, lodging and education cannot apply as well.
• Furthermore, the students who are currently pursuing their studies in private schools cannot apply for the NMMS registration 2024.

Note that the students must look out for their NMMS admit cards on the official state website regularly. In addition, those who have applied for NMMS registration 2024 and are selected through the National Means cum Merit Scholarship application form will be awarded cash directly in their bank account once the NMMS results are announced.
