Notifications for ICAI CA CPT Result 2023
The CA CPT Result 2023 will be announced by the ICAI after the exams for the may session is conducted. The candidates will be able to check their qualifying status for after CPT results declared on the official website.
It will be published in a PDF format, which will have the roll numbers and names of the qualified candidates. The published result also mentions the qualifying status of candidates, individual subject marks, and minimum qualifying marks for CA CPT 2023. The ICAI CPT results pass percentage will also be declared.
- Certification: In addition, candidates who obtain a minimum of 70% marks in the CA CPT pass results, will receive a “Pass with Distinction” certificate from the ICAI.
- Minimum Marks: The CPT examination seeks the candidates to score a minimum of 50% (100 on 200), scoring at least 30% of the total marks in each section as passing criteria.
- Admit card: Candidates are advised to keep their CA CPT 2023 admit card safe until the results are published and other procedures are completed.
How to Check the CPT 2023 Results?
There are two methods to check CA CPT final results. The CA CPT results can be checked via online portal and through SMS (Short Message Service). The methods are given below in detail.
Through Online Portal
The students can their CA CPT exam results through online portal by following the steps given below.
Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of ICAI.
Step 2: A new page will appear. Type registration number or roll number and pin number and also the captcha code and click on the "Submit" button.
Step 3: The result will be displayed in the next window as a results card as shown below.
Through SMS
The candidates can get their CA CPT 2023 result through SMS on their mobile number. It can be done through the steps as mentioned below
- Step 1: Compose a "New Message".
- Step 2: Type "CAFNL" (space) your 6 digit roll number.
- Step 3: Send this message to 58888.
Duplicate Mark Sheet for CPT 2023
In any case, if the student loses their original mark sheet, they can apply for a duplicate marks sheet by contacting ICAI. The ICAI will be issuing CA CPT duplicate mark card after receiving the application within the period of 20 days.
Duplicate Mark Sheet Affidavit Fee: For obtaining a new result marks sheet, the students have to send their details of CA CPT registration including their registration number, month and year of appearance to the exam and roll number attached with an affidavit of INR 10/- on non-judiciary stamp paper duly attested by Oath Commissioner or Notary Public or a First-Class Magistrate. Candidates must mention on the attested affidavit that they were in possession of original CPT marks card but it has been misplaced.
CPT 2023 Revaluation of Answer Sheet
If the candidates are not satisfied by the marks awarded in the CA CPT exam, due to any calculation mistake, the candidate can apply for revaluation of answer sheets for CPT.
Essentials: Candidates must apply for verification of marks along with the evaluation fee.
Revaluation Application Fee: Candidates must pay an application fee of INR 200/- through a Demand Draft drawn in the name of the Secretary, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
CA CPT 2023 Passing Marks
The students must secure a minimum marks to qualify for the next levels of the CA courses in the CPT exam. The minimum cut off and aggregate marks to clear the exam for each section of the exam is as tabulated below.
