CFA Result 2025 for May session level 2 result for May session was declared on Jul 1, 2025. Students need to enter the required login credentials to access their scorecard. CFA Institute Board of Governors will prescribe the Minimum Qualifying Marks (MPS) for each level after each exam. This method considers each exam's difficulty when determining the MPS, ensuring fairness to candidates between sessions. The MPS or individual candidate scores are not made public by CFA.

• MPS or Minimum Passing Score: The narrow grey line that denotes the minimum passing score (MPS).
• Bold Grey Line: The thicker grey line shows the candidates' CFA exam scores. If the thick grey line is higher than the MPS line, you have succeeded in passing the exam; if it is below, you have failed.
• Confidence Interval: The candidate's score is surrounded by a light blue box representing a 90% confidence interval.
• Purple Dashed Line: This line shows the 90th percentile score, which means that 10% of the test-takers achieved scores higher than this.
• Black Dotted Line: The thick black dotted line shows the 10th percentile score, which indicates that 10% of the exam candidates that showed up scored less than this.

Important:

• The grey line with the confidence interval box above the MPS will indicate a candidate who has achieved a high confidence interval that they would have passed in almost any situation.
• Poorly performing candidates may have high confidence intervals, meaning they would not have passed and would need to study harder going forward. These candidates would have a grey line with a confidence interval box underneath the MPS line.
• The score line and confidence interval box will overlap the MPS if the candidate received an average score or a score that is near to the MPS. In rare cases, the applicant may have passed and shifted the odds in his or her favour.
