Instructions for Filling CA CPT Exam Application Form 2023
Newly applied students who have never filled the form for any course in ICAI and ever received students' unique registration number starting with NRO/SRO/ERO/WRO/CRO can only apply for the foundation course and intermediate through direct entry route.
The applicants must have provided their email ID and mobile number. Once registered, an OTP (one-time-password) will be sent to the registered email ID/ mobile number. The applicant have to enter this detail on the user verification screen. Once registered, candidates can access the application form of CPT 2023 to apply for various courses.
If the OTP will not be received immediately, the applicants did not have to panic as it will be sent later.
The applicants have to log in again with their registered email ID and password. Once verified, a new window would have popped up on the verification screen, where the applicants have to enter received OTP and submit. If not received, they have to click the "Resend New OTP" button, and a new OTP will be sent to their registered email ID/ mobile number.

Documents Required for CPT Application Form
Candidates have to carry the following document while filling the CA CPT application form online.
- Copy of class 10 and 12 pass mark card attested by a Chartered Accountant.
- Demand Draft issued towards registration fees.

Corrections in CA CPT 2023 Application Form
ICIA provided the CA CPT application form of 2023 correction shortly after the CPT application form last date. In the application correction window, the candidate can edit/ modify details such as the medium of the exam and the exam center. The option of a CPT renewal application form will be also available.
There are two sessions for the application correction window- the application correction window without a fee and the application correction window with a fee. If the candidate failed to correct within the first session, the candidate has to make the fee payment of INR 1000 to be eligible for the second session of application for the correction.
If the candidates wanted to change the exam centre from India to overseas, the candidate has to pay an additional INR 1000.

CA CPT Online Application Form Payment Gateway Related information
Candidates have to verify their details entered before clicking on the "Save and Pay" button. Once clicked, they are diverted to the payment gateway screen.
The applicants have to enter the necessary details in the payment gateway and then proceed to payment. They should not have refreshed or gone back to the last page. After the payment option will be done, a new screen would have popped up on the screen where details of candidates' forms are displayed.
The status of the candidate's payment will be displayed as "Payment Not Verified/ Confirmed". Else, transaction details (amount, bank taxation number, etc.) of payment are displayed. In case even after 2-4 days, the application status will be displayed as "Payment Not Verified/ Confirmed", then they have to confirm with the bank first and then contact the institute.
