Infrastructure at USICT, New Delhi

Hostel

  • University has two hostels for boys and two for girls

  • Boys Hostels - Shivalik Hostel and Aravali Hostel

  • Girls Hostels - Satpura Hostel and Nilgiri Hostel

Labs, Library and Learning Equipment

  • Institute has a large number of well-equipped labs for all core Branches of Engineering.
  • The classrooms are equipped with projectors, speakers and many practical teaching devices.
  • There is a centralised library connected with fast Wifi, power backup and digital journal subscriptions.

Sports and Fitness on Campus

  • All sports facilities are provided for the students.

  • Regular events and competitions are conducted by the university.

  • Students are allowed to make use of the multipurpose gym that has been provided on the University campus.
  • There is also a lot of outdoor space for physical activities. Students can utilise the parks and other spaces for recreation.

Events

  • LeThAc - Learn Think Act - is the annual Open Source Conclave organised by the IEEE Student Branch.

  • Neurotrix- It is the annual technical festival of the IEEE Student Branch.

 Other Basic Amenities

  • There are an Amul cafe, Nescafe stall and a general store on the campus.
  • Students can either get food the college mess or from one of the many options provided.
  • A bank and ATM have been provided on campus for the convenience of staff and students.
  • A large auditorium has been built for the university, which is home to many events, conferences, workshops and other college-related functions. Many extracurricular activities are held regularly.

  • Hostel fee at University School of Information and Communication Technology is around Rs. 40,000 per year and it includes (meal, room, gym, parks, etc) fees.
  • The rates of the canteen are minimal and one can find every type of meal he/she wants.
  • The quality of classes rooms is good.
  • There are labs for every subject and also there are some labs with open Wi-Fi installed.
  • There is a centralized Library for students (fully AC, open Wi-Fi, ethernet ports, a computer lab at first floor).
  • Also, there are five blocks (A-E) and out of these five blocks (C, D, and E), the block has a large auditorium.
  • Books are available at a time of semester start and the general book is available throughout the year.
  • The college has 2 badminton courts, tennis court, basketball/volleyball court, a cricket ground.

  • There are 4 hostels. Hostels are well maintained, have an excellent mess.
  • The hostel fee is ₹59000/- for one year which includes mess fees too.
  • There are no PGs available outside campus but there is an availability of flats pricing starting from the range of ₹5000/- per month.
  • Food quality is nice in the college with thali costing ₹35/- at University School of Information and Communication Technology, [USICT] New Delhi.
  • The quality of classes and labs and libraries is fantastic. There is a very good Wi-Fi facility in the campus.

  • 3 hostels ( 2 for boys and 1 for girls). Hostels are great and fee is Rs 50000 annually.
  • Quality of food in college is great, the canteen is awesome and spacious, the rates of food are very reasonable, somewhere around Rs 35 for a thaali. 
  • Quality of classrooms is great, huge library, 2 GB data per day for a student. Wifi speed is blazing fast. Overall infrastructure is awesome.

  • The infrastructure of this college is good. Being a part of main campus of IP University, you can expect that. Library is quite good.
