SNS College Of Technology was established in the year 2002, is an autonomous institution located in Coimbatore. It has been approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, accredited by NBA and NAAC with ‘A’ grade. It is a government-aided autonomous college. The courses have been specifically designed in accordance with industry requirements to make the students job-ready. The college offers 14 Under Graduate Programmes and 10 Post-Graduate Programmes in the leading fields of Engineering and Technology. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of the state-level entrance exam i.e. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). In addition to it, SNS College of Technology also provides a Ph.D. degree in five disciplines.

SNSCT Admission 2024

The admission to SNSCT is based on merit-based. Candidates need to apply to an entrance test conducted by college named as Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for admission in UG courses. Interested candidates need to apply to the Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TCET) for admission in PG Courses. SNSCT also takes admission through management quota. Applicants seeking admission to undergraduate courses must have completed senior secondary school. The selection procedure is merit, entrance, and management quota. Candidate must possess an undergraduate degree from a reputed University to register and fill the application forms for the master’s degree courses. SNSCT offers courses in 7 Undergraduate Programmes, 9 Post Graduate Programmes, 3 Five year Integrated Programmes, and Doctoral Programmes. Apart from academics, the college also focuses on research and has numerous research collaborations with organizations and institutes.

Courses Offered by SNSCT

SNSCT offers various UG & PG Courses to interested students. Courses such as B.E are offered to various students satisfying the admission criteria. The college also offers several PG courses such as M. Tech, MBA and M. Tech Courses. Candidates need to apply for their course by filling the application form or by appearing in the entrance exam test.

SNSCT Application Form 2024

The process of applying to programs offered by the institute differs from course to course. For BE/ B.Tech programs candidates applying for BE/ B.Tech are required to apply through TNEA counseling. The process of application is as follows. Candidate should register for TNEA by using his/ her name, date of birth, gender, mobile number. Once the registration is successful, the candidate can proceed to fill the online application form. Payment of TNEA application fee (INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved category) can be paid online. A printout of the completed application form should be taken for future correspondence.

SNSCT B. Tech Admission 2024

SNS College of Technology offers BE/ B. Tech program in 13 specializations. In addition to it, the college also offers lateral entry admissions to B. Tech course in 10 specializations. The minimum required eligibility for admission to any of the BE/ B. Tech programs is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCM from Tamil Nadu state only with at least 50% marks. Admission to the B. Tech courses will be done through TNEA rank list prepared according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the HSC examination. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process is conducted by Anna University. Lateral entry admission to direct second year of BE/ B. Tech course is also provided by the university. For admission to lateral entry courses, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a minimum of 55% aggregate of marks. Candidate must have studied core Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level. Candidates of Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee category who have studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition only. 10% relaxation is given to SC/ ST candidates in the qualifying examination and 5% relaxation is provided to OBC candidates including Backward Muslim candidates.

SNS College of Technology (SNSCT) offers ME/ M. Tech courses in nine disciplines. In addition to it, the institute also offers MBA and MCA courses. Candidates who have passed BE/ B. Tech from Anna University or equivalent in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for the ME/ M.Tech program. In addition to it, the candidates should possess either a valid GATE score card or a valid TANCET scorecard. For MBA and MCA, the minimum required academic eligibility is graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Selection to MBA and MCA courses is done on the basis of TANCET entrance examination, conducted by Anna University. Both online and offline modes of application are offered by TANCET. Candidates are required to send a copy of the completed application form and photocopies of all relevant documents to “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai”. In the case of offline fee submission, a demand draft of INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved category) is to be enclosed with the application form. All TANCET applicants are required to take their respective tests on the assigned dates. Qualifying candidates are called for university-level counseling based on which seats are allotted.

SNS College of Technology offers doctoral programs in five disciplines. For admission to Ph. D programs, candidates should have passed ME/ M.Tech degree in concerned subject with at least 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA. Candidates BE/ B.tech degree are also eligible provided they have a minimum of 15 years of R & D Experience in National Research Laboratories/ Public sector undertakings. Candidates qualified in NET/ SLET or other National Level Eligibility Test or those who have been awarded INSPIRE Fellowship of DST, Rajiv Gandhi and Maulana Azad Fellowships of UGC or similar fellowships are exempted from the written test conducted by the Anna University.
