According to me, infrastructure is something which makes a institution a brand & its okay but we should also consider the faculty which the institute is offering us. In that way, if I say that shivaji college offers you the best faculty & in infrastructure shivaji college is enough to have a great college life experience & the msp of this college is its huge complex (ground) which is the one & only biggest ground in DU.
Education quality is awesome, you have the best teachers who have a lot of experience. They are not just teachers, they will become your friends, your guides, and your mentors. I had a very great time in my shivaji college with my friends & teachers . They make me feel as if they are my original family

Yes, we have a good alumni relations & i personally worked for our Alumni Relationship Cell . You'll get to know so many things from them about the corporates & governmental organisations
There is no entrance based admission process for BA. Programme in my college is also not in DU. Yeahh there is cut-off sysrem to get admission in the college. It's basically for merit based admissions. One should match the cut off to get admission. The cut-off varies every year so we can't predict the exact one, but if you want an approximation then for general category students 92% is good & reserve category students 85%+ is good in there boards (12th)
Many societies like vibgyor, spade, bizarre, reverb, bayan and many more all are very active and placement cell provides many good jobs.
I used to stay in PG as Shivaji college doesn't have a hostel. Canteen is not so ventilated.

Within 50bucks you get everything. Other than that the quality of classrooms is average just like any other DU college.
We have an average of 4-5 lectures every day generally from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The quality of staff is very good. Teachers are highly experienced and teach very well. Overall it's a nice experience.
Per year it's approximately Rs.10,000 which is very reasonable. Fee concession is also available for poor students. For such a small amount of fee nobody generally requires a loan as they even provide fee concession for poor students.
Unfortunately, the placement society has been active for this year only. Therefore there's still a lot of scope for better placements. Till now, there have been quite a few companies like genpact, EnY etc that have recruited students from our course. But for general jobs and not particularly suitable for English honors student.
The typical cut off for Bachelor of arts (English) is around 92%. If you have exactly 92%(best of 4 subjects including English) or more than that, you're eligible for admission.

No hostel available. Yes, lot's of PG available for students. PG is very low cost and very well managed. Food of Canteen is Average.nothing much special about that. cost of Foods is also normal. Classrooms, Library, Labs. are very good. Very friendly zone.

Food in the college is available in canteen. It's very reasonable and tasty as well for normal daily consumption if people don't bring their lunches. Quality of classrooms is not that good, it's suffocating in summers. The library is the biggest library in Delhi University and books are easily available here

BBE is a self-financed course so its fee is much more than any normal course.(it was around 33000 at my time for the 1st year)
