Library: Shivaji College library is fully automated with a wide collection of books of various disciplines. It has subscribed to 48 newspapers, magazines, and reference sources, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlas, yearbooks etc. The library also provides access to about 6000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books. It has two air-conditioned reading halls for students and teachers with computer and internet facilities. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is in place to ensure easy access to books for the users. Braille kits consisting of 221 Braille books with CDs and other facilities are available in the library for visually impaired students.
Cafeteria: The Shivaji College has a cafeteria where friends unwind, bond and discusses assignments and projects while munching on tasty food. Great food, affordable prices and a good ambience make the cafeteria the most frequently visited place in the college. Ice-creams and cold drinks are available to chill out in scorching summers.
Sports and Games: Shivaji College infrastructure has one of the largest sports playfields amongst Delhi University colleges for cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, athletics, softball and baseball. It has a gymnasium as well. Associated infrastructure facilities such as changing rooms and storerooms are also available for the students. Magazine: The college magazine “Shivraj” is published to encourage the creative and literary potential of students. It acts as a platform for young minds to share their experiences, thoughts and opinions. It includes contributions in English, Hindi and Sanskrit from students and teachers.
Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with an audio-visual system and stage lighting arrangement. It is spacious and fully air-conditioned, with a seating capacity of 400 students. The auditorium is the centre for various extra-curricular, cultural and educational activities like seminars, talks, debates, plays, movie screenings and departmental festivals. For many students, the auditorium provides the stage where they overcome their stage fright and learn to give the first performances of their college life.
Laboratories: The Shivaji College facilities include modern, well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany as well as Geography. Four air-conditioned computer science labs provide access to sophisticated softwares and high-speed internet to students and staff. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to assist in the audio-visual mode of teaching.
Medical and Insurance Facilities: The Shivaji College campus has a WUS health centre to assist students and staff with basic medical care. All students can get a health card at Rs.120 per year. The college has provided an Accidental/Life Insurance Policy (Rs.1 lac) for students. A counsellor is also available in the college to help students deal with their socio-psychological problems.
Banking Facility: The college has a Central Bank of India branch within the campus. The staff and students can open their accounts and avail other banking facilities.

According to me, infrastructure is something which makes a institution a brand & its okay but we should also consider the faculty which the institute is offering us. In that way, if I say that shivaji college offers you the best faculty & in infrastructure shivaji college is enough to have a great college life experience & the msp of this college is its huge complex (ground) which is the one & only biggest ground in DU.

I used to stay in PG as Shivaji college doesn't have a hostel. Canteen is not so ventilated.

The college does not have hostel facility but there are many PGs options available near the college The food in the college is average but the rate of the meal is reasonable. The quality of classroom is ok and the college provides free WiFi facility for the students.
