College is well maintained with certain rules. It is very supportive of students of all kinds. It has got good campus. Placements are well planned, working hard for students welfare and groom for corporate. The hostel is facilitated with a good atmosphere. Management activities are held throughout the year it helps to grow more on practical base. Gym and other sports facilities are available on campus.
Classrooms are very good. The other infrastructure is also very nice, the hostel is also good. There is no wifi service in the college.
This college covers very high distance. This college has a large mess facility.
Food is cheap it is like 50 buck for a full meal and quality of labs and classrooms is above average but there is no hostel facility and PGs are great too..
No hostel facility. But yes, a lot of pg options are available outside the college. They charge approx INR 7-10000 per month. The food is college canteen is just bearable but very reasonable. Within 50bucks you get everything. Other than that the quality of classrooms is average just like any other DU college.

Food in the college is available in canteen. It's very reasonable and tasty as well for normal daily consumption if people don't bring their lunches. Quality of classrooms is not that good, it's suffocating in summers. The library is the biggest library in Delhi University and books are easily available here

Shivaji College Library is fully automated with wide ranging collection of over 1,06,611 (One lakh sixlibrary1
though six hundred and eleven only) books of various disciplines. The Library subscribes to 48 newspapers and magazines and has a rich collection of various reference sources such as encyclopedias, Dictionaries, atlas and yearbooks etc. The Library also provides access to about 6000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books through N-LIST Programme of INFLIBNET and a host of high quality electronic databases subscribed by Delhi University Library System (DULS) to its users. The Library has two air-conditioned reading halls for students and teachers with computer and internet facility. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is in place to ensure easy access of books for the users. For visually impaired students, Braille kits consisting of 221 Braille books with CD’s and other facilities are available in the library.
The Cafeteria is indeed the most popular joint with the students. It is a place where friends unwind, bond and discuss assignments and projects while munching on tasty food. Great food, affordable prices and a good ambience makes the Cafeteria the most frequently visited place in the college. Ice-creams and cold drinks are available to chill out in scorching summers.
Shivaji College has one of the largest sports playfields amongst Delhi University colleges for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, athletics, softball and baseball. It has a gymnasium as well. Associated infrastructure facilities such as changing rooms and store rooms are also available for the students. The college sports teams participate in intercollegeand inter-university tournaments. The college has been visited by various national and international players of repute who have encouraged students to work hard and excel in sports and games.
The college magazine “SHIVRAJ” is published to encourage the creative and literary potential of students. It acts as a platform for young minds to share their experiences, thoughts and opinions. It includes contributions in English, Hindi and Sanskrit from students and teachers.
The auditorium is well-equipped with state of the art audio visual system and stage lighting arrangement. It is spacious and fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 400 students. It is the center for various extra-curricular, cultural and educational activities like seminars, talks, debates, plays, movie-screenings and departmental festivals. For many students the auditorium provides the stage where they overcome their stage-fright and learn to give the first performances of their college life.
The college has modern, well-equipped and efficiently managed laboratories for all science courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany as well as Geography. Four air-conditioned Computer Science labs provide access to sophisticated softwares and high speed internet to students and staff. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to assist in audio-visual mode of teaching.
Medical and Insurance Facilities
The WUS Health Center is available within the college premises to assist students and staff and provide them with basic medical care. All students can get a health card at the cost of Rs.120 per year. College has made a provision for Accidental/Life Insurance Policy (Rs.1 lac) for students. A counsellor is also available in the college to help students deal with their socio-psychological problems.
The college has a branch of Central Bank of India within the campus. The staff and students can open their account as well as avail other banking facilities.
There is a Xerox center within the college where the students can avail photocopying facility at any time
