College is well maintained with certain rules. It is very supportive of students of all kinds. It has got good campus. Placements are well planned, working hard for students welfare and groom for corporate. The hostel is facilitated with a good atmosphere. Management activities are held throughout the year it helps to grow more on practical base. Gym and other sports facilities are available on campus.

Classrooms are very good. The other infrastructure is also very nice, the hostel is also good. There is no wifi service in the college.

  • There is no hostel facility at Shivaji College.
  • There are many PGs are available for both boys and girls at Shivaji College for reasonable rates.
  • The quality of food is good and it is very cheap.
  • The canteen is also well maintained and provides good options for fast foods and normal food items.
  • College infrastructure is also very good and maintained, classes are ventilated and all are provided with the projector screen.
  • There is a wifi facility available in the campus.

Food is cheap it is like 50 buck for a full meal and quality of labs and classrooms is above average but there is no hostel facility and PGs are great too..

  • Great infrastructure of college
  • Good places within college to relax like C-points , hawa maha, sports complex and garden
  • Nice and spacious classrooms with fans.
  • Students are not allowed to access wi fi
  • Approximately 4-5 air conditioned computer labs with a lot of working systems.
  • No hostel facility in the college. But a lot of PG options are available near college within and around areas like rajouri garden and tagore garden
  • The canteen of the college has reasonable prices with good food
  • There is a counter for dairy products too 
  • Also there is a counter with good food and beverages.

No hostel facility. But yes, a lot of pg options are available outside the college. They charge approx INR 7-10000 per month. The food is college canteen is just bearable but very reasonable. Within 50bucks you get everything. Other than that the quality of classrooms is average just like any other DU college.

  • The college is wifi enabled, class room projectors all basic necessities are there in the college.
  • The best thing about the is that there are cafeterias - one of them being a bru cafe and a huge canteen which offers from bread pakodas to spaghetti pasta one thing that the college should look into is having a stationery.

HOSTELS & FOOD
  • The college does not offer any housing option for the outstation students but some PGs are available in the nearby locality the canteen offers a huge variety of food to suit your taste buds one can be extremely sure about the quality of the food which is being offered to the students.

Food in the college is available in canteen. It's very reasonable and tasty as well for normal daily consumption if people don't bring their lunches. Quality of classrooms is not that good, it's suffocating in summers. The library is the biggest library in Delhi University and books are easily available here

Shivaji College, Delhi University Infrastructure Details

Library

Shivaji College Library is fully automated with wide ranging collection of over 1,06,611 (One lakh sixlibrary1
though six hundred and eleven only) books of various disciplines. The Library subscribes to 48 newspapers and magazines and has a rich collection of various reference sources such as encyclopedias, Dictionaries, atlas and yearbooks etc. The Library also provides access to about 6000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books through N-LIST Programme of INFLIBNET and a host of high quality electronic databases subscribed by Delhi University Library System (DULS) to its users. The Library has two air-conditioned reading halls for students and teachers with computer and internet facility. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is in place to ensure easy access of books for the users. For visually impaired students, Braille kits consisting of 221 Braille books with CD’s and other facilities are available in the library.

College Cafeteria

The Cafeteria is indeed the most popular joint with the students. It is a place where friends unwind, bond and discuss assignments and projects while munching on tasty food. Great food, affordable prices and a good ambience makes the Cafeteria the most frequently visited place in the college. Ice-creams and cold drinks are available to chill out in scorching summers.

Sports-and-Games

Shivaji College has one of the largest sports playfields amongst Delhi University colleges for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, athletics, softball and baseball. It has a gymnasium as well. Associated infrastructure facilities such as changing rooms and store rooms are also available for the students. The college sports teams participate in intercollegeand inter-university tournaments. The college has been visited by various national and international players of repute who have encouraged students to work hard and excel in sports and games.

Magazine

The college magazine “SHIVRAJ” is published to encourage the creative and literary potential of students. It acts as a platform for young minds to share their experiences, thoughts and opinions. It includes contributions in English, Hindi and Sanskrit from students and teachers.


College-Auditorium

The auditorium is well-equipped with state of the art audio visual system and stage lighting arrangement. It is spacious and fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 400 students. It is the center for various extra-curricular, cultural and educational activities like seminars, talks, debates, plays, movie-screenings and departmental festivals. For many students the auditorium provides the stage where they overcome their stage-fright and learn to give the first performances of their college life.

Laboratories

The college has modern, well-equipped and efficiently managed laboratories for all science courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany as well as Geography. Four air-conditioned Computer Science labs provide access to sophisticated softwares and high speed internet to students and staff. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to assist in audio-visual mode of teaching.

Medical and Insurance Facilities

The WUS Health Center is available within the college premises to assist students and staff and provide them with basic medical care. All students can get a health card at the cost of Rs.120 per year. College has made a provision for Accidental/Life Insurance Policy (Rs.1 lac) for students. A counsellor is also available in the college to help students deal with their socio-psychological problems.

Banking Facility

The college has a branch of Central Bank of India within the campus. The staff and students can open their account as well as avail other banking facilities.

Xerox Facility

There is a Xerox center within the college where the students can avail photocopying facility at any time
