SJMSOM MBA is a 2-year postgraduate course in management. The program was restructured in 2013-14, and with its new curriculum, it seeks to strike the ideal balance between courses that advance knowledge, broaden perspectives, and develop skills. The SJMSOM MBA courses are offered in two formats: MBA and EMBA.

SJMSOM MBA admission 2023 is based on the scores of CAT. For 2023, CAT was concluded on November 26, 2023, and the scores will be considered for admission later next year.

SJMSOM MBA Eligibility Criteria

SJMSOM MBA eligibility criteria require a four-year bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) out of 10.

Students with professional degrees like CA, ICWA, CFA and CS and a bachelor’s degree in any subject with 60% can also apply for admission. Admissions are also open for students in their final year of graduation.

For EMBA, applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of work experience and should be at the managerial level.

SJMSOM MBA Admission

As mentioned, SJMSOM admission is based on the composite scores of the CAT. After the application submission, students are called for an interview. Admission of final-year students is based on fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

Candidates appearing for EMBA must submit an essay on the topics given on the admission brochure and a permission letter from the employer.

Application Procedure

Once the CAT results are announced, the SJMSOM MBA application procedure will start. Students will have to submit their application forms online. While filling out the forms, numerous changes can be made before submission. However, once the submission is completed, no changes can be made.

The SJMSOM MBA entrance exam is CAT.

Documents Required

The following are the documents required for the application for SJMSOM MBA:

• Marksheets of 10th and 12th (<=500KB)
• Passing certificates of 10th and 12th (<=500KB)
• Graduation certificates and mark sheet (<=500KB)
• Photo ID proof (<=500KB)
• Certificate of category (<=500KB)
• Scanned passport photos (<=40 KB)
• Scanned signature (<=10 Kb)

Each document must be a maximum 500 kb PDF file. The signature and passport photo both need to be in JPEG format.

SJMSOM MBA Fees

The SJMSOM MBA fees is INR 14.07 Lakhs. It is the total fees for the course and includes variables such as one-time payment charges, deposits, and tuition fees. The fees can be paid in instalments.

The SJMSOM fee structure for EMBA is INR 42 Lakhs. It is also the total fees for the course.
