The Industrial Design Center (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is a pioneer design institute that provides a wide range of programs in such areas as industrial Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Animation, Mobility and Vehicle Design. The center came into existence in 1969 by the Government of India. The institution groomed itself under the guardianship of popular engineering colleges i.e. IIT Bombay.
