Placements & Internships : SDMIMD offers core courses in Finance, Systems, Marketing, HR, Operations and Analytics. Companies come for all these domains for hiring. The key companies are Schneider, Infosys, TCS, MedLife, Ujjivan, etc. These companies offer internship as well. The average package that the companies offer is around 6 lakhs per annum. As of 2018-19 the highest salary which was offered was 9 lakhs and also 100 percent placement. SDMIMD has an Alumni association named PRERANA which was formed in 2018, where all the alumni are connected with the college. There will be Alumni lectures conducted on campus to the students quite frequently.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for SDMIMD is the completion of undergraduate in any field like Engineering, B.Com, BBA, etc. The admission procedure is that you apply to the college first then you will have a personal interview or skype interview. The entrance exam that I took up was the MAT exam. There are no cutoffs for the course.

Fees & Scholarships : SDM Institute for Management Development, [SDMIMD] Mysore Management Fee Structure. Fees of SDM Institute is INR 5.6 lakh per year.  The scholarship is offered by the college to those students who have a consistency above 70% in 10th, 12th and undergraduate as well. Around 75 students get scholarship per year. Yes, loans are needed as the complete course fee is around 12 lakh( including 2 years). Students can get a student loan for various banks such as Corporation bank, Karnataka bank, etc.

Academics & Faculty : The class timing is from 9 am to 5:45 pm. The course is divided into 6 semester where it is 3 semester per year. In each sem there are around 8 subjects and projects and presentations will be allocated to each subject. Each sem there are two examinations, one being the Mid-term exam and the other the End-term exam. The college has well-versed lectures most of them who have a doctorate degree. Classroom teachings are conducted in college where each class has around 60 students.  

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : SDMIMD has both Boys as well as Girls hostel. The hostels have single occupancy rooms so that each student have their privacy and do not have to depend on others timings. The hostel fee per annum is 56 thousand. This college is a complete residential college and all the students should stay in the hostel. 3 meals per day are provided by the college mess which is very tasty and healthy. SDMIMD gives only vegetarian food as it belongs to the Sri Dharmasthala trust. The mess fee comes around 2.5k per month. Classrooms are stepped in structure. There is a 3 floored library on campus which is open from morning 6 to evening 6. The college has an ethernet connection and is made available to all the members of SDMIMD. A dining building which is 3 floored and a big computer lab is also present.  

Clubs & Associations : There are around 12 clubs in SDMIMD which is for photography, marketing, systems, HR, etc. Alumni association PRERANA is one of them. There are 2 festivals which are conducted in college, one being the undergraduate fest named Abhigyan and the other is the postgraduate fest named Naissance. Being in SDMIMD is really wonderful as you will meet people from all around India.
