SDM Institute for Management Development was established by SDM Education Trust in 1993. SDMIMD Mysore offers PGPM and PG Diploma in Management in addition to a dual degree course in Management and Doctoral Programs.

Postgraduate Diploma & Postgraduate Certification in Management [PGDM- PGCPM] courses require candidates to have a valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT score. Students who surpass the SDMIMD Mysore cutoff for these written exams are called for the personal interview.
