Total three hostels are there. Hostel fee is nearby INR 70,000 per annum. There are many PGs available with the charges of INR 3,000 to INR 4,000 per month. Meal per plate costs around INR 40. Quality of classrooms, labs all are good.

Hostels are provided for both boys are girls. Pg's are available nearby the campus. Food quality is good in this college. This college has the excellent infrastructure with lab facilities with all types of equipment. Every classroom is equipped with the projector that enables high technical teaching.

Infrastructure :-

The eco-friendly picturesque campus is spread across 30 acres of land situated on the banks of River Nethravathi and adjacent to Mangalore-Bangalore National Highway. It is located at a distance of 7 kms from the port city of Mangalore, a popular education hub. It is well connected by road, air and train to all the major cities of India. The Campus is rightly named 'Sahyadri,' which means the Western Ghats and is surrounded by green hills and river.

The campus with a built-up area of 4.00 lakh sq. ft., is aesthetically constructed in the court yard system. Spacious classrooms with good ventilation and audio-video facility is provided. Well-equipped Laboratories as per AICTE norms and very spacious library with all the required books, journals, e-journals. Four seminar halls and one auditorium with all modern acoustic facilities, beautifully designed food court and well developed sports ground with 400 meters athletic track, with nature's fascinating beauty.

The Central Library and digital library are equipped with state-of-the art furniture and facilities. The multi-storey college library with an area of 1050 having total seating capacity of 500 students with the courtyard in the middle provides natural light and ventilation, creates a conducive study atmosphere for the students.

The Library being the most important part of the education system is the hub of all the activities in the campus. Much care is taken to provide the best of the best facilities in the Library to motivate the students and the faculty members to make use of the facilities. The library is equipped with books from all branches of engineering, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Hand books, Data books, catalogues, ISI specifications etc.

Sahyadri College Of Engineering & Management library also adopts an open access system and maintains author, title, subject and series catalogues to provide multiple accesses to the stack. Audio Visual facilities, photo copying facilities, book bank facilities etc are also in place.


Sahyadri Campus has a separate hostel section under the management of Hostel Management Committee. The committee is headed by the coordinator looks after the day to day aspects of the hostel management at the  Campus. Each hostel has a Warden who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of building, allotment of rooms etc. The hostel staff consists of caretakers/ block supervisors, other attendants and maintenance staff.

800 seat capacity auditorium is the riverside of the Sahyadri Campus. The Auditorium is for all its graduation ceremonies, gatherings, lectures, seminars and Club activities. Student programme and performances are also held here as this auditorium is well-equipped with excellent acoustics. Cultural activities add colour to the college curriculum and bring out the hidden talent of the students.

Food Court

Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside. The management is happy to provide the Sahyadrians with an aesthetically built spacious food court in the campus, which is now maintained and managed by experienced chefs and managers from reputed star hotels. It provides a variety of hygienically prepared delicious South Indian food, Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, Chats and fresh fruit juice.


Sahayadri educational institution runs it’s own transport fleet catering service to students who commute daily. The busses run on all working days at different route.
