Ram Krishna Dharmarth Foundation [RKDF] group was founded in the year 1990. After realizing the need for access and quality in higher education especially in central India and decided to establish colleges at different locations in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Group has a network of colleges in areas of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Hotel Management, Education, Homeopathic, Dental and Nursing located in cities of Bhopal, Indore, Sehore and Rewa to promote equity and access to education in central India.

RKDF University, Bhopal was established on 14 February 2012 sponsored by Ayushmati Education and social society. The university aims to provide excellent education. University believes that education is all about creating an environment of academic freedom, where bright minds meet, discover and learn. Focused on communities living within the transmission zone of the radio station, Radio popcorn focuses on educational, health, career information, career guidance, and infotainment based program. It reaches out to every section of the society within its transmission zone with special efforts for the communities that are marginalized to ensure that the less privileged sections of the community also find a voice through the radio.

RKDFU Scholarships:

Different scholarships are provided to the students by the Central and MP State Government. The University group grants more than Rs. 10 crores worth of scholarships to deserving and needy students. Under Fee Waiver Scheme, the State Government has started a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor but meritorious students. Further information regarding this can be obtained from the office of the Registrar. Under Education Loans, getting an education is no longer an insurmountable problem these days.

University scholarship also includes Education loans that are available to the needy and deserving students from all nationalized banks at reasonable rates of interest. These loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma. University is also ready to help Financially if some genuine reason lies behind it. The RKDF Group strongly believes that poverty should not be allowed to stand in the way of completing education for meritorious students. Academically intelligent and financially poor students can acquire higher education by financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. The parents of meritorious students are also honored along with the students in the annual functions of the college.
