Jagran Lakecity University is a private university established under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and is based out of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. JLU Bhopal is one of the fastest-growing and one of the most awarded universities in Central India having practice-based pedagogy at its core. Currently, the university is offering a 56-degree program to more than 2500 students from 8 countries and 27 states of India. The university has numerous partnerships with top industries and international educational institutes, ensuring the students get great exposure both nationally and internationally.

JLU Bhopal is the only participating university from Central India ERASMUS+ program under the Tuning India Project, funded by the European Commission and is also currently the country chair for the Association of Universities of Asia Pacific (AUAP). Outlook India has ranked Jagran School of Journalism and Mass Communication, JLU Bhopal as No.1 in Madhya Pradesh and top 15 in India in 2020.

Jagran LakeCity University Admission

The University admission application form is available on the official website and at the admission office. The admission is based on merit and entrance examinations. The candidate must have all the necessary documents during the admission process. JLUET is the entrance test that the students need to attend to pursue admission to JLU.

JLU Eligibility Criteria

For any of the courses that an applicant wishes to apply for, they must meet the below-mentioned criteria of eligibility.

JLU UG Eligibility Criteria

• For all the UG courses, the candidate must have completed a minimum of 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% from a recognised university.
• For LLB courses, admissions will be given based either on the CLAT/LSAT scorecard or the JLUET Exam followed by a Personal Interview.
• For B.Tech courses, candidates must have a valid score of a minimum of 50% with PCM as a subject along with a valid score in the entrance examination.
• For BMS, the candidates must have completed a Higher Secondary Certificate qualification with a minimum of 60% or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized board.

JLU PG Eligibility Criteria

• For all the PG courses, candidates must have a valid score in their UG programs.
• For the M.Tech program, the candidates must have a valid score in the GATE examination followed by a personal interview.
• For the MA program, candidates must have a valid score of a minimum of 50% in their Graduation program.
• For LLM, an undergraduate degree in Law from an institute affiliated with a university or any university recognized by UGC/BCI, with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent is required.
• Admission will be on the basis CLAT PG / AILET PG Scorecard and a personal interview.

JLU PhD Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have completed a Master's degree in a relevant stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
• The candidate's admission is based on the score in the JLU Entrance Exam followed by a Personal Interview.

JLU Infrastructure Facilities

The University library has a wide range of academic resources like books, journals, magazines, online published papers, and reports.

• There is also an e-library to facilitate the learning of our students and provide seamless access to educational resources.
• They have several auditoriums and seminar halls with the latest audio-visual facilities for guest lectures, seminars, presentations, and other academic activities.
• The classrooms are enabled with wifi, LCD projectors, and sound systems.
• The lecture halls can accommodate about 60 students and the smaller tutorial classes have around 20-30 capacity.
• They have many labs and studios with soundproofed rehearsal rooms, recording studios, radio stations as well as a fully equipped Video recording studio.
• The student resource centre is in the shape of a pyramid and is a centrally air-conditioned building catering to all kinds of amenities to develop student’s wisdom and knowledge.
• The first floor of the student resource centre can accommodate 450 students and has over 30,000 books.
• There are more facilities like buses, cafeteria, and sports facilities.
