In 1982, IIFM Bhopal was founded as an independent organisation under the jurisdiction of the Indian government's Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change. The college is known to train students in management and related fields. The college currently holds offline classes in accordance with directives from the appropriate government. AICTE has approved IIFM Bhopal's programs, while NAAC has awarded IIFM Bhopal an A+ accreditation.

IIFM Bhopal provides quality education for management and allied techniques and methods for the development of forestry in the country. It offers courses in the field of Management. It includes Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management [PGDFM], Post Graduate Programme in Sustainability Management [PGDSM], and FPM.

IIFM Bhopal considers the scores of  CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT for the selection of the candidates. Registration has begun for a few of these entrance exams. CAT 2024 is scheduled for November 24, 2024, and XAT 2025 will be conducted on January 05, 2024. 

IIFM Bhopal placement cell organises drives every year, and significant recruiters visit, ensuring maximum placements every year. For 2023, the highest package offered was INR 20.5 LPA, and the average package offered was INR 10.38 LPA.

IIFM Bhopal Admission 2025

IIFM Bhopal admissions 2025 process will soon begin. The admission process will be based on the scores on different national management entrance exams of CAT, XAT, MAT etc. However, IIMs and XLRI will not have a hand in the selection process of the students.

Fellow Programme in Management Eligibility Criteria 

• Bachelor’s with at least 50% aggregate + Master’s or equivalent degree with First Class, including a five-year/four-year Master’s (integrated program)
